We went on a Saturday during lunchtime. The place is easy to find and the seating abundant. They have outdoor seating as well, but we opted for indoors due to suspicious clouds coming in. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer which was a wonderful balance of tomatoes, cheese, and balsamic vinegar. The bread was crisp and flavorful. It had the perfect amount of hardness for bruschetta. Our only issue was there was only four slices of bread in comparison to the amount of bruschetta provided. One could request more bread for an additional fee. We would recommend adapting the dish by adding a slice or two more of bread and slightly reducing the amount of bruschetta to balance the dish better. For our entrees, we ordered two burgers (the Pig and Cronie) from their main menu, plus another (the Germanator) from their secret/underground menu. We each selected a different option as our side - caesar salad, chili cheese fries, and sweet potato tots. The caesar salad came with large, nicely seasoned croutons and was quickly devoured. The chili cheese fries were served in a side dish and had a nice blend of chili and cheese throughout. The sweet potato tots were mini balls of deliciousness. The Germanator (may be misspelling this) originally comes with a pretzel bun, but we requested to have it replaced with a brioche instead. It was extremely flavourful, as was the Pig and the Cronie burgers. The yolk of the egg that came on the Cronie burger peaked playfully through the hole of the croissant donut on top. None of us could finish the large servings though we gave it an honest try and may have eaten a few extra bites solely because it tasted so good. The reasoning for the four stars instead of five was for the bruschetta bread issue mentioned above, plus an issue with one of our drink orders. A sweet peach tea was ordered, but an unsweet with hardly any peach syrup/flavoring was given. Overall we highly recommend Teak. We look forward to coming again on our next trip to Orlando and maybe sitting in their outdoor area next time. Note - we could not help overhear two of the waitresses talking about a dog that sometimes frequents the area with his owner which leads us to believe one might be able to bring their behaved pet with them to the outdoor area. We cannot confirm or deny this so one may want to call ahead and inquire before bringing a pet. A couple of weeks ago I went to the Orlando Chili Cook Off. Guess who got the top honors for Restaurant Chili? Teak Neighborhood Grill! I had never heard of this place before. Needless to say I had to check it out. In true to it’s name “neighborhood” grill, this restaurant is literally surrounded by a neighborhood in Metrowest. There are apartments, condos, and single family homes all within stumbling distance. The back patio of the restaurant is attached to a fitness center. For the large interior and patio, coupled with the residential area, the parking spaces seems a little sparse. My guess is, people just walk over and graze. Interior, Exterior, and Patio VIEW SLIDE SHOW DOWNLOAD ALL The interior is a sports bar atmosphere with TVs, games, and high top tables. To one corner there is a large round table. The outside patio, is large, wide open, and covered. There are bars both inside and out. The crowd is definitely as the name reflects “neighborhood”. It seems like the staff knows most of the patrons. The menu consist of flatbreads, sandwiches, full entrees and burgers. They even have a burger challenge. Twin Teak Challenge is $39.95, to guzzle down in 45 minutes. Just looking at the menu picture, I’ll pass. Can you say Man versus Twin Teak? They have several daily specials. I was fortunate to be there on Half off Mondays. Half off Starters, Soups, and Salads with the purchase of a beverage. White Peach Sangria – was light and refreshing. Bowl of Chili – This is what I came for, since they were all out when I got to the Cook Off. Grounded angus beef, simmered in spices and sauce. The flavor was medium and complimentary. Definitely with broad appeal. Excellent. Grilled Teriyaki Wings – was nicely charred with sweet grilled smokiness. It is my believe that they rival my all time wing favorite from Houligan’s in Ormond Beach. Wow, it has been over a year since I was out that way. Note to self, must make a trip soon to verify which wings fly higher. Crab Cake – had ample crab meat and was delicious. Blackened Fish Tacos – Fish was flaky, seasoned, and cooked well. Vegetables were fresh. Pulled Pork Flatbread – The pork was flavorful and flatbread crust crispy. Balsamic reduction was heavenly. All items were cooked well with medium flavors for a broad appeal. This is certainly the kind of place that you can go to every night and have something different. The comfort level and laid back atmosphere welcomes and beckons. I am excited to return and sample some of their burgers. No, not the Twin Teak, the others. Who wants to cook when they can just walk out and go downstairs? Great location and service.

Teak Neighborhood Grill! I think I could eat this whole menu. Lots of fun options and many interesting flavors to try. Teak Neighborhood Grill is a gastropub that is worth the adventure to find in Orlando. There is an entire section of burgers on Teaks menu ranging from fried plantains to donut bun burgers. I opted to try "The Pig" after much careful debate on my visit. The Pig features smoked ham, bacon, pulled pork, topped with white cheddar cheese, onion jam, herb mayo, and a pretzel bun. The first thing youll notice about The Pig is the melted cheddar fondue running down a mountain of flavorful toppings. On first bite your mouth will be greeted by a rush of flavor from 4 different kinds of meet, onion jam, cheese, and a tender pretzel bun. The Pig is one messy affair (living up to its name) but each bite is enjoyable and flavor filled. The onion jam may have just been a little too abundant on the burger I ordered, however I removed some with a knife (its very tasty, but a little goes a long way). I noted that the flavors were so plentiful that the beef played a secondary role. While these flavors were pretty amazing I like when each element is complementary and has its place built around a great piece of beef. However, this burger was unlike anything I have ever tried and is definitely one of the best in Orlando and Florida. I wish I had time or the room to have tried all of Teaks burgers. Its clearly a special place that features some of the most unique burgers in The United States.

On a recent trip to Disney, we wanted something off the beaten path and Local. We read the reviews online and decided to give Teak Neighborhood Grill a try. Wow, what great choice!! The environment is modern and upbeat but not to overdone. The staff was friendly and they had an extensive drink list with local beers (something we had not seen much in the South but seem to be abundant in the North where were from). The food was quality and clearly the menu was created with culinary thought as opposed to the typical pre-packaged deep friend food you find at so many "Grills" like this. At one point a gentleman came by to check on us and, based on his attire, I guessed he was the chef and he confirmed he indeed was. I believe theres a distinct difference between a "cook" and a true "chef" This guy was a Chef! Ive eaten out hundreds of times and I can count on one hand how many times someone from the kitchen (who actually prepared your meal) has come out to check on their guests. To have this kind of personalized experience is uncommon and was a nice touch. Lastly, we had four kids with us and never felt like we were taking them to a "bar". The atmosphere was appropriate for family dining as well as social dining! We will be sure to make a special trip back to Teak the next time were in Orlando!! I only wish I lived in one of the neighboring homes! Last comment, they take reservations! Great place! You will not be disappointed.
