Today, an employee and one of the owners treated me disrespectfully at the Wild Goats Cafe. Im a senior Marketing major at Kent State, and I called in regards to working with them on a social media ad for one of my classes. I asked to speak to Charlie, one of the owners, about potentially working together, and the woman rudely said, "Not interested" and immediately hung up on me. I drove there hoping to talk with Charlie in person, who was not even willing to talk to me in a professional manner about what I was proposing. He blew me off and didnt give me the time of day to explain myself. Not only have I been a regular customer at the cafe, my mom also worked there for 12 years. If they are willing to blow me off with that much ease and rudeness, I can only imagine how they treat people they dont personally know. While its ok to not want to partner with me for a class project, they could use a lesson in PR and stop acting like theyre too good to help the huge population of students that essentially keep them in business. As a student and regular customer, I expected better treatment but was let down. I advise students to not waste their time trying to help them because theyre not interested in helping you.

The food is good, if a bit pricey. The service is spotty, with staff often ignoring customers in favor of chatting merrily with other staff. Some days you can wait almost an hour to get served. Some servers are just inattentive to orders, and when food arrives it may not always be what you ordered, e.g. hashbrowns when sweet potato fries were ordered. A few weeks ago we stopped in for breakfast, and the restaurant was hardly packed, but it was swarming with servers. Regardless, we still had to wait 10 minutes for our coffee. Bottom line: inconsistency. Too bad.

Wonderful breakfast, the ingredients in the omelettes taste so fresh and delicious! I always leave with a happy tummy. The coffee is perfect, I believe it is from a local coffee roaster in town. Service fluctuates, but I have had a couple great servers there! When they are busy, what else can you do besides have patience? Sit back and relax and enjoy your company, a book, or whatever. Worth a visit! It is my favorite place to eat breakfast around here! :)

One of the best places to have lunch, get together with friends over dinner, or just get coffee, a giant cinnamon roll, and work for a while. Great service, excellent locally roasted coffee, fresh ingredients with special touches. Wonderful meal options that leave you feeling healthy, not heartburny. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries. Cafe incentive deals throughout the week make it even better.

service is hit or miss. the first time we went we had a great waitress that we were really impressed with. this second time we had sort of a sub par waiter but the food has been excellent both times. while it wont break the bank, if youre not getting a special it is just barely on the pricey side for the sort of experience and food you get here.

Nobody was there when we went and they still sat us right next to the counter with a beautiful view of the drink cups and pop machine. Ordered the peanut butter and banana French toast and it came cold. Had to send it back. No discount for giving me cold food. Waitress wasnt particularly apologetic about it either. Overall a meh experience.

The Wild goat cafe was completely empty Saturday August 12, at 4:30pm. Not sure why because their food is delicious. We were offered a free scoop of ice cream at the end of our meal which is something they do every Saturday evening. Mine was raspberry chocolate cream cheese and was to die for. Love this place.

Wild Goats is great. Heard about it for years but have been there 5x this past year. Laid back atmosphere and wait staff. Relax, good food and quality ingredients, a number of them local, some organic. Great coffee from local roaster. Omelets, eggs, sandwiches and salads all good. Soups incredible.

This is an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch. I usually get breakfast there, but I can also recommend the hummus. The service is really good and quick. Its a small place though, so bigger parties (over 8) would get a little scrunched (not impossible, but not the best set up either).

I recently moved to the area, and I really dug the menu selection (as a vegetarian). The staff is friendly and the topping list for the sandwiches is impressively massive. The breakfast didnt blow my mind. They have some great specials during the week, and I plan on eating here often.

Food is always really good and the prices are cheap. Every day of the week theres a different special, my favorite being 40% off of everything on Fridays. Every person weve interacted with there has been super nice and the wait is never that long even when the parking lot is 100% full.

The food is good, but I feel it can be a bit more pricey, yet competitive with similar restaurants in the Kent area. I love their $1 breakfast items on Wednesdays (aka Buck Buck Brinner) and $5 burger nights on Thursdays. Also save room for dessert, because they are to die for!

On the smaller side. We tried to go with our baby an there wasnt enough space for him in the car seat. Once we got a spot at the bar, the food was great. Coffee was awesome! Would go again but maybe when we have someone watching the baby.

Love it here! Only way to improve would be dedicated gluten free items. Being vegetarian, I manage to eat here regularly, but my friend with celiac dx has a limited selection. Plus, they support a good cause, which is beautiful!

My husband and I ordered similar sandwiches - I got the vegetarian version. Both were very very good. Produce tasted ripe and fresh, server was friendly, and the price was fair. I will definitely be back. Good vegetarian options!

Our favorite place in Kent for breakfast! All of our out of town friends and family want to come here when they visit. The cinnamon roll is great for sharing. Eggs Benedict and variations of that theme are my favorite.

Food was good pretty simple. The bacon was super super fatty though which made my sandwich a little disappointing. Service was super nice. Parking was awful. All on all I would go back. Found it a little pricey though.

Waited 15 mins to sit. 20 mins to order. hour for food. Hair wrapped around my coffee. Asked for bowl of soup, received cup. 10 mins to get bowl. sandwich was tiny, greasy disk. french onion soup tasted like salt dirt.

The Wild Goats Cafe was fantastic! It is a cute family restaurant with great food and service! It was my first time there and I ordered the Shepards Breakfast which was delicious. I would recommend this to everyone.

This is a very good classic diner with great staff and really good food. This place is usually pretty crowded, especially on Sundays after church. I like that the restaurant uses locally roster coffee beans.
