Food is fantastic. Servers are fun, friendly and fast when the delicious food Id ready for the table. So why the beef? They open at 11am. I was standing in the very hot hot Florida sun at 10:58a. OK, my fault for being 2 minutes early. But I could see people inside and thought the door would be opened as a courtesy. 11:05a a vendor (Boreahead) joined me and another customer at the door. 11:07a the vendor was let in. Are you open? I asked the doorman. He indicated they were not ready. I could see the chairs were not in place. "It is very hot out here," I said. He held up five fingers and said "five more minutes." Two more minutes and I walked to a cooler place. Im 75, btw. Customer care is also important.

1. Eggplant parmesan had a funny taste. Strongly suspect that it was meat. Could not finish it. Told the waitress about it not tasting like eggplant and tasting funny, she just said "so?" Did not apologize nor offer a refund. Also, this dish is served with roasted sliced potatoes. Pasta was not able to be substituted! She also forgot to bring the potatoes. 2. Ordered soup, forgot to bring the spoon. 3. Ordered an 18 inch vegetarian pizza. Pizza was soggy and undercooked. Pizza cutting was extremely poor. Not cut into squares or even slices! 4. Operated by Argentinians, TV is on Spanish channel, Spanish music is playing.

This place started out very promising. Their pizzas are delicious and they have great specials. In room dining is still nice. However delivery is hit or miss. The last three times I ordered delivery the pizza arrived cold. And the toppings were t cooked thoroughly. Its nice to have this cute little place in downtown north Miami. But consistency is the most important ingredient for long term success in the restaurant business. I would love to see this place succeed so I hope they work on being consistent . And maybe give up delivery and offer pickup only.

Quiet place with amazingly fast service and great food. The owner herself attends you! Very romantic and rustic looking place, she even put a candle on our table when she dimmed the lights. Have you ever been to a pizza place that did that? Well I sure havent. We didnt even order anything extraordinary, just two 18 in cheese pizzas and some empanadas but she treated us like royalty anyway! Tipped her well for outstanding service. Will be back again to enjoy another great experience!

I just found a roach on my pizza I brought it to the pizzeria and the lady did nothing about it. She just stared at me and she didnt even offer another pizza. I feel very disgusted about the place and I wont ever buy anything again and I would not neither recommend it. Health dept will take action since they didnt even apologized

Very tasty pizza! Im originally from NJ and have always been looking for a good pizza place in Miami. Tomato and Basil is the place. Best pizza in Miami with fresh ingredients. A cute place to eat in or the takeout is great too. Im so glad they opened.

this was the worst pizza i have ever had. Steves and marios are far superior. I had high hopes for this place as its closer to me, terrible. the below reviews are clearly fake. Cardboard base, dry, z grade tomato sauce. Purely horrible.

I stopped here after noticing their lunch special on the window. The pizza is AMAZING. This place is an untapped goldmine. Its clean the food is authentic and the service was incredible. Id reccomend this place to anyone.

Absolutely delicious!! Probably the BEST pizza you can have in Miami at a really reasonable price. The soups, and pastas are also worth trying! We go every week. Cozy place and beautiful decoration. Highly recommend <3

Absolutely terrible. I would not suggest this palace to anyone. Pizza was terrible and overpriced. Avoid this place and go to nearby Steves Pizza or East Side Pizza for authentic pizza.
