In the bucolic neighborhood of Coconut Grove we come across this Italian pizza shop dedicated to extolling the virtues of the traditional and regional wood-fired pizza flavors. Its fare also includes specialties of the Italian cuisine, and for those who love going out to have some tapas, this food venue offers small-sized original snack dishes to share. The culinary creations of Farinelli 1937 are indeed presented with great care, but one other thing that makes this place so special is the fact that they have preserved the original family recipes over eight decades. Furthermore, it boasts a wide-ranging choice of alcoholic drinks in which wines and beers are in the spotlight. This restaurant’s low-key décor is refreshing and luminous and features a pleasant terrace; its staff goes to great lengths to attend to diners. Farinelli 1937 is the hallmark of a family establishment that has devoted itself to upholding the traditions of Italian cooking by conforming to the new realities of the culinary marketplace, its presence in Miami to continue furthering the legacy proves it.

Visited on a Monday evening and immediately got a table in the patio for our party of 5. Theres a relaxed ambiance and good dose of people watching from the comfort of the enclosed patio (rather than a table in the way of foot traffic like many other restaurants in the Grove). The food is delicious, from their appetizers (fritto misto and focaccia aromatica) to their wood fire oven pizzas (regina, cremosa and funghi). The sauce in their lasagnas had just the right touch of flavor and creaminess. Our server (Julio) and everyone else were really friendly and very attentive to all our needs during our dinner, which was a big plus to our experience. Would definitely recommend and will be back myself for more of that pizza.

We were excited to try the restaurant since we live in the grove and we love seeing good new restaurants. However, the service was horrid , we ordered two salads one pizza, it took them 40 minutes to bring the food. The salmon on the salad was completely raw, my husbands chicken salad was terrible, the pizza was the only food item that was good. Alain all, I would recommend only the pizza, if they plan on making it, they need to up the service. Clearing the food one customers done, taking the menus after customers finish ordering , filling drinks ...I did not see a manager walking around to make sure all tables were serviced properly.

Simply amazing. Thats really all that needs to be said about Farinelli. I have never been to a restaurant where every single dish was out of this world. Not to mention, I dont think Ive ever been served a glass of wine that was chilled to the perfect temperature of 55 degrees. Atmosphere? Unique to anywhere in Miami. Sophisticated, yet relaxed. Upscale, yet comfortable. Whatever you do, eat here. You will not be disappointed.

A fantastic sister restaurant of Strada. While still working out their opening staff and service; the food is great. Highly recommend the carbonara pizza, prosciutto sandwich & any of the salads. The wine list is quite good (even though they tend to be missing some inventory). Highly recommend to anyone who loves central and southern Italian style food and specifically pizza

We went recently for my wifes birthday and had a great time! Our server, Kevin Walker, was attentive, professional, and funny! The hostess was friendly and helpful, even though she was working a double shift. The food was delicious, fresh, and more than reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

Food is good, slightly above average but not impressive. Service was bad, had to ask for someone to go get my order after waiting for a while and no waiter bothering to go to my table. Had to ask twice for some bread and it ended up arriving after my appetizer.

Great pizza and unusual flavors. My pumpkin pizza was delicious, my friends devoured their gluten-free pizza and my partner enjoyed his lamb pizza. With great and attentive service, a beautiful patio and scrumptious food, it was a great night.

Great ambiance in the heart of Coconut Grove. Small chicken in light lemon sauce is amazing. Friendly staff, very good wine list. Owner Mauritzio is always there taking care of business. Price, reasonable. Great pick!!!
