Food was excellent. We had a large group so we got to try a little bit of everything. From appetizers, to the small and large plates, to the desserts, they were all delicious. Would come back again for the food alone. Price. Very expensive. The the large plates are large portions, but you are paying a lot for it. The small plates vary. Some are less than a serving of an appetizer and others are large enough for a meal by themselves. All the appetizers were amazing, but very small portions (barely enough for two people to split) and very expense for their size. Atmosphere. The music was great, but it was very, very noisy. If you are having a large group where they bring to tables together, you will not be able to talk with someone two seats down from you. Theres just so much going on inside. On top of that, it was scorching hot inside. It was pretty hot outside (maybe high 80s) and inside it was probably mid-90s. The only fans were around the bar area and the outside sitting area. Every person in our group had sweat through their shirts/dresses by the time we left. Staff. They were super friendly and nice. The wait time is what will never make me come back again thought. We sat down at 6:30 and didnt get out of there until 10:50. If your into sitting around for a long time, then thats great, but there were tons of times were we just couldnt find our waitress (or the other staff/hostess either) and would just sit around waiting. After getting our checks and everyone providing their payment method we waiting over 45 minutes for our receipts and change to be provided back.

We were so excited & looking forward to visiting Glorias newest spot. The venue is beautiful, the decor is similar to Larios on Ocean Dr, blue and white tiles. Live music by piano & the bartender on vocals, that was very nice. The food was as expected, homey, delicious, and hearty. They served the best tres leches Ive ever had.The big negative - service. Our waitress spoke barely above a whisper level, I had to ask her "what?" multiple times, yet she never raised her voice to a normal volume. After our order was taken she was no where to be found, we had to waive her down for refills, a desert menu, and the check. Youd think after looking for her one time she would be more attentive, but no. The check indicates 18/20/22 suggested tip - none are warranted until the service improves.

We were there once before and sat at the bar. The bartender was amazing and the tamal sampler platter was out of this world. We tried it again last night and I must say we were disappointed. Same amazing service from that one bartender but the food was horrible. Had the churrasco Moro and fries. Ive had better food at Sergios. The rice was hard and the meat had no seasoning. The worse part was the fries. They were hard and tasted old. I wish they had better food. I truly love the place and would come back for the service at the bar, alone.

Let me start off by saying I LOVE Gloria Estefan. I visited Estefan Kitchen yesterday and I was super excited. For starters I ordered the Cuban bites( Baked Cuban Empanadas and Mini Cuban Sandwiches, they was super small bites and not enough for the $6 I paid for each one. I then ordered the Chicken Vaca Frita for the main dinner course, the chicken was again very small for the $24 price and was very overcooked. To sum it all up I was very excited to try this restaurant but left disappointed.

This restaurant is located in the heart of the Design District and is property of Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio. Estefan boasts an indoor area where music steals the spotlight and an outdoor bar with a view of the central square showcasing the most upscale stores of Miami. It is an ideal venue for the contemporary adult audience (40 to 60 years old) looking for a good time and the delight of Cuban food.

Went with friends to try the Miami Spice menu, which was a good deal. The cuban risotto was great, and the chicken vaca frita was also good. The lechon asado left a lot to be desired. the empanadas for the starter was by far the best appetizer, and the guava and cream cheese creme was good but definitely for those with an extreme sweet tooth. Good for groups/birthdays, and its definitely a lively affair.

I was expecting like always when we go out an unique experience and we had family from Tennesse visiting for the first time. The service horrible our waitress was so not into our needs and or requests the people bringing the food was a lot better. Really? Migos? Cold and pork tasted only a Saxon de note. If you know how to cook you will know what Im saying overpriced Cuban food.

went on 04/28/17.. their food was ok. Caribbean Food is supposed to be well seasoned. theirs definitely wasnt. I first order the Pollo barbacoa and the chicken wasnt seasoned at all.. the chicken was also tough. I switched to the Pollo Fritas and had the same problem. chicken wasnt seasoned, and tough. this was my 1st time experiencing Cuban food, and its probably my last

I was waiting on Sunday morning to have some early breakfast (pastelitos, tostadas, etc with my family and the waitress told us to wait till 9am to open ...she make us wait more than an hour without any excuse. The waitress Julie was very rude. Although I will be back, they should take about care the costumer service.
