1-4-16 ...EVERYTHING!!! JEFFREY our server is AMAZING!!! The ambiance is as perfect as Jeffrey... The trout salad was marvelous as was the surf and turf, Jeffreys service was impeccable...we used a Groupon and was treated like a king and queen by Jeffrey , AKOYA is now our restaurant of choice..weve dined on Ocean and Collins for over 8 years now but have never had the service experience like the experience Jeffrey gave us at AKOYA... Kudos to our our awesome son TT for the outstanding choice to give his father that perfrct bday gift to dine at AKOYA...Thanks to the great Chefs for the excellent food and once again to Jeffrey who made it an experience to brag about, such great service...we shall recommended AKOYA to everyone and tell them to ask for Jeffrey.....:) Kim & Tyrone

Akoya puts forward good options for those in Miami looking for an affordable business lunch and a combination of flavors that ranges from Peruvian to Japanese, all the way up to some Thai dishes; they offer complimentary coleslaw and dessert (donuts). We came in with little expectations and we came out having a good impression. Don’t forget to try the sangría for just $3 (a beverage blend of red wine, chopped fruit, sweetener and brandy that is common in Spain and Portugal). Parking in this part of Miami can be difficult, although the restaurant’s manager told us they were looking for a solution.

Dont come here with a Groupon. I went for lunch on a Friday and was seated pretty quick. When the waitress came to our table she asked if we had a groupon. When I replied yes, she immediately changed attitude and told us that she would not be able to serve us for at least half an hour because she had other customers. Great way to treat new customers. Completely unprofessional.

I was very impressed by service at this place. Everything very professional and you can just seat back, relax and enjoy your conversation or great food without looking for waitress to ask for something just like at many places around. Prices are ok and reasonable for this kind of quality. Thanks we enjoyed

Wife and i came here for our anniversary after reading reviews online and having a groupon helped as well.... The King Triton Fish entree is easily one of the best dishes ive ever had... Wife got the lamb and it was amazing as well. I would come back for sure with or without a groupon

I love this place. My coworkers and I try to make it every Friday. The service is always great and consistent. The waiters are very attentive, and the food is delicious! My favorite is the salmon sake (but with rice instead of sweet potato---which Ive never liked).

The server is great and professional. The female supervisor on the other hand is extremely disrespectful and disgusting including the fact that i did nothing to upset her thus she spat in my face by telling me to not come back. I still left with a fake smile.

Worst experience of my life!!! Waitress dropped alcohol all over my brand new clothes, shoes and on my hair !! And I didnt even receiv a discount !! Dont go there !!

Excellent food, the Thai doughnuts are to die for, and so are the appetizers. Order the moscato you wont regret it.
