Ive only been to this gay bar once, and it was more than enough for me... The bartenders are all nice enough, and the bars staff were great, but the entertainment was rude. The queen who performed first was fierce, but then the headliner gets on the floor. I think her name was Monic-Hunt or at least should be, and I guess as I stood up after tipping the previous queen my wallet had fallen on the floor (it must have been in my lap). From outside the bar, because you cannot smoke indoors here, I can hear her reading my drivers license out to the whole room. Name, street address, city, etc. and if my boyfriend hadnt gone inside to retrieve the thing she probably would have carried on with my birth certificate and social security card as well. Instead of handing over the wallet, she continues to go through my personal effects and added in a bunch of scandalous stuff that wasnt even in there, "look at all the pictures of other boys in here, I wonder how many boyfriends he has". My boyfriend was not amused and tried grabbing it from her, but she pulled away and told him not to get grabby with her, all of which was over the mic and in the spotlight. I have never been so embarrassed in my life, and I love a good trip to the library, girl. FYI, when nobody is laughing, you arent being funny. I only wish I could say she was cute, but alas she was wearing a coral moo-moo and had chopsticks or something in her hair, looked like a fat Chun-li had mated with a lobster and she was the offspring. Needless to say, I was warned that shes mean and has been spoken to by management before when my boyfriend had gone without me one night, but I just figured she was a queen and some people misunderstood her sense of humor. Afraid not, shes just a betch and a bully, and I wont be returning so long as she is employed there. The other queen, Lady something-or-other was very professional and had the crowd going without having to upset anyone, take notes girl... If you like being read to filth by a queen who clearly doesnt own a library card, then this is the place for you! (please note the seething sarcasm)

Boring Sad to say it but, just cant believe the price of a Disaronno Amaretto 750ml battle cost $24.99 @ Mel & Rose Wine, No tax. And getting it on this place is $10 for a shot, I dont know if is the bartender abusing or the owner has turn really greedy. The other times I being there my drink was $7 with a different bartender, of course, I don"t care about the price of something I really like if the ambient its great but i"ll definitely wont go back and of course, never will recommend this place at all. Gogo Dancers, Thanks for such unhappy moment, I like to attract the man not to be chase it for them.

Easy to make this bar "where everyone knows your name" esp during Karaoke. Fear not it being in what looks like a smuldering strip mall. Quench has added vitality that the Straight bar, 3 doors away, is trying to suckle. We Gay enterpeneurs are just natural gentrifiers. The mall could be a BOOMING corner some day if the restaurant reopened as gay direction and the old Christopher Street could do a varience of gayness that Quench does not have. Such as always being Surfer/Punk, Piano solo or Modern Jazz themed.

My personal favorite gay bar. Its mostly men but very accommodating and welcoming to women as well as straight folks (us girls just take our own "posse!") Mitch and Ethan are wonderful bartenders that make terrific drinks and keep you entertained with wit and conversation. Dancing, pool, darts, free popcorn plus lots of special events weekly. Cannot beat the happy hour anywhere in town!! Drinks are half price until 9pm!!

Ash-free atmosphere, and vaping ok. Eden and TJ are very welcoming and caring, and it was my first visit. Trivia is fun. Music videos are great. Go-go dancers are cute. Drink specials cheap. Pool tables good. Cleanest bathrooms. Will definitely make it a regular return visit.

My favorite gay bar across the bay. Quench is more than a bar, it is a place to socialize with old friends and maybe even make a few new ones. Their daily happy hour, smoke free indoors, and daily events always set the stage for a great time.
