The only good thing was the garlic knots and the clam chowder, although I wouldnt call it chowder. It was in a broth base and had no cream. The marinara sauce did taste homemade but was masked by huge pieces of minced garlic. The noodles did not taste homemade at all. My calamari was over cooked and very rubbery. When I mentioned this, my server said, "well you have to like calamari". No duh, I wouldnt have ordered linguini calamari if I didnt like calamari. When I said we were finished the server took our plates, which I thought she was going to box up, but instead came back with the check. We never did receive our leftovers. I wouldnt have ate the leftovers but my other family members would have. Besides for $20 and having over half of my entree remaining I expect to receive the rest of my food to go home. I dont mind paying for good food, but I do feel this was overpriced. They also advertise themselves as being a 1 $ sign restaurant. Yet they dont have any entrées for under $13 and there are only two priced under $14. We will not be going back.

We LOVE Amicis!! It is not much to look at from the outside, we drove by it so many times and never even saw it tucked away in a strip center. A friend recommend it to us one night and now we eat there once a week religiously! I have never had such delicious Italian food in all of Florida! There pizza is very tasty but my personal favorite is the Chicken Francesa, try it, you will not be disappointed! And Amicis is family owned and operated, it shows in their quality and excellent service, something you will never find in a chain restaurant.

Closest place to Manhattans Little Italy I have found in Pinellas County. The charm and appeal of old world decor with authentic Italian food and fine wines. Superb home made pasta at a affordable price. Friendly staff with excellent service. My wife and I have not found a better place in the neighborhood and place it at the top of our favorite places.

Amici Italian Eatery is one of the best eateries that I have ever been to! I love the warm atmosphere, the authentic ingredients, and the awesome staff! Ms. Donna is lovely and engaging! I love how the other guests were friendly and funny! I will always remember this experience, as this was my first but certainly not last visit!

Dont let the outside fool you. The food and service here was excellent. Our waitress never let us slack, and the food when it arrived was hot and delicious. Now you might think $15 is a lot for pasta... but consider what dinner at Olive Garden costs now, its in that same range. Anyways, go by here, you wont be disappointed.

The food is the best I found in Florida, If you like Italian food, this little place is for you, great service too! Im so glad we ran across this, its in a lttle strip center almost next to largo medical center, We ran across it by mistake, It ruined me for any other Italian restaurants! Great find!

My family and I went to eat there on valentines dinner right as they open. The owner asked if we had reservation. I said "no" the owner said we will have to make this quick. We were out of there within 45 minutes. The quality of food was not much better than fast food $$$$.

Absolutely loved it! The best tasting food and wine! Its not very kid friendly but they definitely altered things to make it that way. Very elegant and uper class but the price was great! The calzone are HUG more then enough for 2 people to share. We just loved it!!

Wow! Ive lived in the area for years and I have always wanted to dine here. I finally got a chance and was not disappointed. The sauce is to die for, the service excellent, the best gnocchi Ive ever had. I will be back.

I know I was kind of pushing it, and I arrived at 9:25pm but the sign on their door said they close at 10pm online said they closed at 10pm and they said they couldnt serve us because they closed at 9:30

I am 100% Italian and my wife makes her own sauce from scratch which is delicious. This was better. All food even sauce is made fresh for the order. Great service. Great food. Moderate price.
