I have visited Adams Street Grill for many years. I have worked in downtown Jax for over 10 years. I used to love this place when it was an Mom and Pop restaurant. When the new owners took over they made many changes some good and some bad. The worst change that has taken place is the customer service. On Thursday, May 18, 2017 I decided to grab a bite to eat for lunch. I walked in Adams Street Grill and it was pretty much empty. They had a sign stating that their hood on the grill was broken and would be repaired on tomorrow and that their menu was limited for today and that prices for lunch was discounted. One by one customers continued to walk out and it seemed as though the business was having a really bad day. I decided to order a grilled chicken cesar salad instead of what I originally walked down there for. I paid for my salad and I sat down in the empty restaurant, and I opened my plate up and I received ice berg lettuce for my Cesar salad I ordered. So, I walked back up to the counter and informed them that I order a cesar salad with romaine lettuce. I was then told "Oh, we are out of of romaine lettuce. I stated to the gentlemen that you should have informed me that you were out of that product then gave me the choice on whether to decide if I still wanted that salad. Never did they ask me if I wanted a refund or if I would like something else. I go ahead and sit down to try and eat my nasty dried up, old chicken off of the mountain of iceberg lettuce I received for my cesar salad. I was the last customer in the restaurant at 1:15 p.m. The owner walks over to me and states " Are you ok", my reply was "No". I tried to explain to him and show him the entire salad I had not eaten because it was gross. The owner proceeds to say oh well since we are out of product we are about to close up. I got up threw my entire salad in the trash and walked out. The closing hours listed on the door of the restaurant is 3 p.m. not 1:15 p.m. As previously stated I have been a valued customer of Adams Street Grill for many years but after my experience on yesterday I will never spend another dime in that place nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone. #BRINGBACKTHEMOMANDPOP

I cant say enough about this place! The ownership is amazing, the food is always spot-on, and I have NEVER had an issue! Amazing fried rice, chicken salad wraps, and gyros. Its always scary when you see a restaurant that offers a large variety of food, since most places have one specific thing they are good at. Adams Street hits each dish out of the park, no matter what it is. This is home-style, heartwarming food with a family atmosphere. They even have signs asking you to let them know if there are any issues so they can address them immediately and fix them! I fully support this local business!

5 stars for the first delivery. And from here it got more disappointing. The second delivery my order looked like it was a day old. Hey, I was like well you have your good days and bad days. They mustve been busy. Third order a couple of days later. Disaster. I placed an order with GrubHub. I wanted for almost two hours. I called only to get a message they were not taking any calls at this time. While Im receiving a message my food was delivered. Thankfully I contacted GrubHub and my money was refunded back on my card. I cant believe they attempted to scam me.

I just had a horrible experience at Adams street grill. I asked for a receipt and was asked why by the owner. I said its for my coworker. He said I shouldnt be getting them food if they didnt trust me. He printed the receipt and was very rude and sarcastic and wrote "have a nice day" on it. As I walked off he said "bye Felicia" HAHAHAHA I got back to work and had the wrong order. He was rude and wrong! Never again. That was my last visit

I used to work near Adams Street and would go every chance I got. The staff is great and the food never disappointed. Everything from the quesadillas, to the chicken philly, to the fried rice (you have to try the shrimp sauce), is great. And, theres a different special almost every day of the week. I highly recommend the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich.

Their fries were hard, and not in a good crunchy way, it was cold and gross. Their wrap was too soggy and fell apart and the lettuce inside tasted old. Their tenders were too crunchy for my toddler to bite directly into and their drinks were watered down. Terrible.

The soda was flat, and when I tried to inform the staff one lady in particular got snappy. The kitchen looks gross. I know they dont clean the grill and stove very often. It looks like years of grease caked on the grill. I was completely grossed out.

The first time i looked up reviews on a restaurant and it was more then true this place is Fantastic Chicken fried rice with shrimp sauce and potato salad. ....is the $*** that killed Elvis.....Please try this place....

Get the chicken cheese steak, very delicious. Chicken wraps are also awesome, so pretty much get anything with chicken in it and you will be happy. Reasonably priced too. 5-6 dollars for lunch? Ill take it

Fantastic food and really nice owners. You HAVE to get the chicken fried rice, with the shrimp sauce. Then come back again for the potato salad. Its so simple, yet perfect. Like everything here.
