I would like to say the service was above satisfactory till a server made a balatant remark i will get to shortly. My group went 3 months ago, i had the chicken parm dinner... Now i have had this in other olive gardens, never a problem with the chicken parmesian in the ones i went to in Minnesota or NY, NJ or other states, but the one here in Inverness, Florida had me gag... Even covered with the sauce and cheese i noticed it is nothing but 2 round chicken patties, as you would buy at walmart or win dixie for like 2 bucks for a package of six...not hat bad at home when making a quick sandwhich, BUT AT THE OLIVE GARDEN??? As i complained. for grease and oil was everywheremixed in, they tried to make it sound better then it was but made it worse, they said they drop the 2 pattties in their frier, then let them drip to lose some grease, then addd the sauce and cheese and then bake to melt the cheese! I had better at "frat" parties. OK, 3 months pass we decided to go again, another try, the soup thats usualy excelent (chicken gnogi..spelling off, but sounds like that) had 1 little dumpling the size of a dime and the rest was broth...i complained, the waitress agreed and brought it back, said shell bring me some from a new batch, the mgr also was with the waitress at our table at that time and aplogized too as he saw the soup...the both left to the kitchen, the manager came back first (in 2 minutes) to tell us a new batch is being made, will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes, well, do we leave or wait? we decided to wait....three seconds later another woman comes to table with soup (not sure if she was busperson or another waitress) and says "here you go from a freshly new batch"...which it couldnt be, because the mgr said 15 to 20 minutes, not 2 minutes before, anyways, it was the same stuff, the mgr was investigative in a kind way and checked the soup and he even said it was not accpetable, i said it was like white colored and slightly flavored dish water...the waiteress (?) remarks in a rude voice "Ohhh. then what you wanted is Campbells Chunky"...me and my wife looked at her, She walked away and the mgr apologed and said hed be right back, but he left immediately after the waitress...funny, our family gives there gift cards out almost traditionally as gifts or side gifts for ll occassions, and weve done this for decades... I am going to have to requst all relatives to cease sending them to us here in florida...i still have 3 cards (two $50s, one partially used, and a $20) in my wallet... I will be "re-gifting" them to a an out of state friend. Oh, you can use them at red lobster too and the one in spring hill florida is ok, maybe ill save them for their, but the Olive Garden in Inverness, FL is like going to a cheap diner with nice italian decor...and the prices reflect nothing more then the decor. Stay away is the opinion pf myself and my family...chicken patties like from a 5th grade cafeteria, oh please. -Mike

Ive been to this location for dinner before. I met a friend for lunch this time. Our waitress was very good, as well as support staff. She provided us with a number of different wine choices which many expensive restaurants dont do. As for the food, I was very surprised to find out that they no longer have Caesar salad! ? No dressings besides ranch or vinegrette. There was one more, I cant remember. I had a hard time deciding on lunch as I was planning on ordering chicken Caeser ..oh well. They had some decent options for under $8 for lunch, called Duos. My friend didnt like her minestrone soup. It was thick like chilli. No broth. It had carrots( in fairness, the waitress mentioned carrots) and the pasta was larger than normal and not much of it. I had the chicken gnochi soup and enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken p ( something, cant remember the name). It was basically a quesadilla. They had a all veggie version also. The chicken was suppose to have mushroom and peppers. They were nice and made mine as requested with spinach and mushrooms, however there was barely any spinach. It was in there like you would lay down a piece of lettuce in a sandwich. There were 3 pie shape pieces for the lunch portion, basically like 1/2 a quesadilla. It came with a spicy marinara type dipping sauce. Over all, food was okay, service was very good- even though my friend initially received the wrong soup; it was quickly replaced. The server blamed the waitress :( bad form to throw a fellow worker under the bus or possibly blame someone else for your mistake. The tables have tablets now, like at other chains. The button is very small but you can call for help from it, which is great if youre needing something. It flashes so any staff nearby will stop n ask what you need. The restaurant itself was very warm and we uncomfortable. After asking a couple times, they lowered the temp. The majority of lunchtime patrons were quite elderly and typically prefer it warm. They use non energy saving lighting above and that and the temperature outside added to the heat inside.

This has to be the worst managed OG in the world, any time you go there is a 20-30 min wait, not because they are busy, but the management does not properly staff the restaurant with servers. Then the servers are all younger kids that look like they just graduated from the Meth Factory, most wreak of cigarette smoke and have long hair and tattoos that are not friendly for the work place. Its impossible to get a quiet table somewhere near adults, even if you try to sit in the bar area the stupid hostess will seat a family with young children in there, I know its considered a family restaurant, but how hard would it be to put all the guests with smaller children in one area in the back. All the management does is act like their hands are tied and offer you something free, some of us would like the problem fixed, not a free meal. Even filled out the survey on several times with issues above and nothing was done from corp level. There are only 4-5 big chain restaurants in this town, Id rather complain till they fix the problem that have one less to pick from. BTW its called Chicken and Gnocchi soup, so please put some chicken and gnocchi in there, I shouldnt have to order 3 bowls and waste 2.5 bowls of milky water....you can always keep it for several days, I know cause you can tell when its days old, which it usually is.......avoid Friday nights altogether, when the specials like all you can eat pasta or 2 for $ 25 cause the place fills up with folks who cant afford to eat there any other time ....arrgh

Two Weeks Notice
The ONLY good thing about our visit was our server, a very nice young man who was in way over his head with the crowd but still took really good care of us. We had heard about their "classics" special on the radio, it never said Monday-Thurs only but the pricing wasnt much higher then the advertised price. Most of my family ordered the chicken and gnocchi soup, all of our bowls had very little chicken and all were extremely salty. My Grandpa ordered the chicken parm and it was as other reviewers said, like a Tyson patty with a bit of marinara and it was also extremely salty. My mom and I ordered the Ravioli Di Portobello and it was AWFUL. It was supposed be mushroom ravioli in a cream and sun-dried tomato sauce. There was almost no sauce on our plates and neither had any flavor at all, bland wasnt the word for it. My mom finally asked our server for salt and pepper, he could only find salt because it was so crowded. My dad ordered the lasagna classico and he had the same problem, no flavor at all, just tomato mush. My brother would barely eat his shells and alfredo because the sauce was clumpy and when my mom tasted it she spit it back out into a napkin. The manager walked past us repeatedly and saw our barely-touched plates but didnt so much as stop to see if we were okay. Weve been long time patrons at other Olive Gardens but we wont be returning to that one again. Rather spend the money next door at Ruby Tuesdays or up the road at Outback.
