I love Publix, shopping truly is usually a pleasure there. Went to the Indian Harbor Beach, FL location last Friday 2/17/17 and upon checkout the cashier never smiles, didnt say a word except oops one time when an item fell and as were leaving my husband looked at em and said wow that was not like publix, not friendly employees today and I agreed as I had thought the same thing. Today I call to find out about a platter for this Fridays upcoming meeting and I need Italian so spoke with Sherry in the bakery and she was not helpful at all, told em I can have a mixed platter I asked about a canoli platter and she said $.89 each and $3 for tray. I asked ok so how much for 20 because I didnt have a calculator ans she said- like I said $.89 each and $3 for tray. I asked her if there was a deal like maybe I buy even more and theres a deal they do or something and she said no, like I said $.89 each and $3 for a tray. I told her I really thought she could have addressed my questions properly and id make sure Corporate knows about the lack of customer service and she said ok and hung up. Very Very Very disappointing for Publix. I wouldnt be so upset if it wasnt publix or 2 times in 1 location but theyre not working up to the Publix standards. A simple, I am sorry maam I do not have a way to add it back here but heres some other ideas- but no nothing, just rude response each time.

Christian magazines in the check out line happening very frequently. There are many of other beliefs, & many tourists thru here. Cmon up from 1950 to 2017. Also, always running out of and not replacing favorite items. Shopped here 30 yrs. Not any more.

They do not keep there plaza clean and they dont portray a feel at home environment. More of a corporate costly experience. Walmart and publix are starting to feel the same. Better options would be luckys, downtown produce, or the jungle.

My most favorite publix! Friendly and helpful staff, best organic fruit and veggie variety and (My absolute fav) help yourself brachs candies which I cant find anywhere else! You guys are the best! You need to refill the royal lol

Since they did a remodel on the store, which looks great so far, they seem to have increased their prices here to help cover the costs. Luckys Market is starting to look like a better option.
