Being someone whos worked in the service industry for 5 years, I take pride in making sure my customer is satisfied and everything goes right. And I understand that people get busy and overwhelmed, but given its 8 oclock on a Sunday and its DEAD, little miss Kyla was gone 90% of the time. AT THE BAR. First off, my boyfriends food was nor only a peice of steak the size of a tablespoon but it was awful. And I hate sending stuff back, given Im in the service industry. But I was extremely apologetic and told her, look we both tasted it and its really bad. I wouldve even paid for it and ordered something else if this dumbass didnt look at me like a dumbass and say "uhm then whyre you still eating it? Its like all gone" Excuse me? EVEN if I was wrong, you dont respond to a customer like that. And my boyfriend felt bad so he was like "its okay dont worry about it" Where she shrugged us off and left the bar. Literally left. And was gone for 20 minutes. White Im trying to pay the tab. Luckily the other girl was lovely and checked on us, but this little brat is a brat. Who needs to learn some work ethic and how to respond to customers. Also, idk if it was a bad batch or if its something in the sauce but Ive had the churrisco steak before and there was something definitly wrong with it.

Never been to eat there, but in reading reviews I find it hysterical that the "Response from the owner" on some of the reviews is a robotic reply. The only thing that changes is the name of the reviewer and maybe the wording is rearranged in a couple of the sentences. But other than that, Bokampers management obviously has no serious intention of addressing any staffing and/or order problems, screw-ups, etc. that occur in the various locations. Maybe Bokampers management should think about trying a more personal approach and actually provide a disgruntled customer with an incentive to return to the restaurant, instead of just brushing them off and repeatedly saying "we will discuss the feedback with the team." Obviously these "team" discussions have not taken place, because the same response has been given by the supposed "owner" for at least the past year on various low ranking reviews. Talk about poor customer service!!!! I strongly suggest if anyone in the future has a complaint about any of the Bokampers retaurants in South Florida, contact the corporate office directly via registered mail, not write a review on a website that appears to be checked once in a blue moon by the management team. Ill be curious to see if I get a "Response from the owner."

This was the worst experience I might have ever had at a restaurant we came in on a Monday night invited by a Miami friend raving about the great food and amazing view! When we got there excited to eat and enjoy our night around 11pm we proceeded to order with our waiter Ivy who took 30 minutes to bring the first sign of appetizers when the guacamole arrived it was after our chicken wing entrees and after over 45 mins of waiting for any food at all! When the manager Michael came to our request after not being attended too for almost 45mins we waited another 20mins for his arrival which was greeted with a printed receipt telling my table how they have not made us wait and that we were at fault! Still no new drinks had been refilled and no sauces or arrangements for our late food! He told us he refused to serve us and we were obligated to pay a reduced portion of our bill! Over all we paid and left with the most racist and straight up lack of customer service I ever experienced! The man assumed because we were Hispanic we were not interested in paying when in fact we were just looking for equal service to everyone else around us! Be careful and stay blessed googlers this place is no bueno! I never write reviews but this was a shocking experience to say the least!

Thrown out by Gavin because I told the Asst. Manager my burger I ordered was ruined, and not worth 18 dollars. This does not include the $75 tab accumulated thus far. Some where along the line- this Gavin fellow who lacks professionalism and an honest staff, stated that I verbally assailed his AM-. Well, if telling your AM that a burger dripping with blood is not worth $18 dollars is considered a verbal assault directed at him, then I want my tax dollars back for both of your supposed educations. Clearly, your AM is a liar!; and unlike you Gavin, I was discreet enough to convey my burger disdain in private with no other customers around. You- the coward that you are chose to humiliate me in front of a full bar as if I ranted loudly; and you had the audacity to claim I berated your staff- to wit, I did no such thing! If a paying customer complains because YOU screwed up- OWN IT!!!! I guess its fine for you to mess up customers orders and toss them if they complain. Great business model Bokampers- you must be Proud!

17 dollars for that crappy burger? Are you kidding me? Tap 42 has a 15 dollar burger thats triple the size of this nasty little thing with its dried out bun. Gilberts has a 15 dollar burger thats probably worth 20. Bokampers should be ashamed of its self for even serving it. How can you bring proud of yourself for putting that on a plate? We requested medium rare, it was severely over cooked, the bun was stale, the cheese was wrong, and the sauce was minimal. And then the wings! Those were actually ok, but the blue cheese was an extra dollar and was the worst blue cheese Ive ever had. There was hardly any cheese in it at all. And the celery/carrots were old, dried, and getting brown. Did they not even look at it before serving? Its like they spent all their money on TVs and decor leaving no funds for human quality food. Will never be returning. And Im not even a foodie. I eat some pretty rough meals every now and then. Guys. This place is BAD.

I honestly I dont know how GEREMY the bartender still has a job obviously management does not care about their guests experience because Ive been there multiple times and the only time I have bad experiences is when he is behind the bar I literally cant enjoy a drink because he has the worst attitude ever I kind of mentioned it to the "manager or maybe the owner which they call papa"?? But he was too busy on his phone to worry about THE MISERABLE TIME ME AND MY FRIENDS HAD last time we went , for a drink after trying to forget a crazy night at our job and then you have to deal with someone who cant even say hi how can I help you tonight ?" He walked out the bar for like 10 minutes without even asking if I needed a drink??? I hope I dont have to be serve by this douchebag again or I will do everything in my hand so it can get to the ears of someone who actually cares!!! You get a 1 star because I just cant put 0!

Service was atrocious. Our server, Mara, took 15 minutes to come greet us and there were only a few people in the restaurant. My husband and I ordered drinks and watched as the young lady talked to other staff members instead of delivering them. My vodka cranberry was watered down and my husbands beer had no foam. We were going to order an appetizer, but she seemed irritated by me asking for a recommendation. I ended up ordering Mahi tacos. I normally love tacos so I was surprised how horrible they were and the rice that came on the side tasted stale. My husband ordered a burger. He enjoyed it. Before my husband was even done eating, the waitress tried pushing dessert on us. When we said we werent interested, she ran to get the check and threw it at us. We have been here before (on a busier day) and received better treatment. Next time we will just go to duffys where the food and service are better!
