Our favorite place in Dunedin for a coffee and snacks. David and his staff are unfailingly helpful and friendly. The food is great and David takes justifiable pride in roasting his own coffee, which makes the end result that much better. The atmosphere is great too: weve met several fascinating people there and had delightful conversations with them. Definitely worth the effort seeking out Sandpiper - it isnt far from the center of Dunedin.

I LOVE this place....best food, lots of character...very comfortable...Karen and David have done a fabulous job! and the coffee isnt bad either :P We had their server Hannah...found out she works on the weekends making extra for school!!! Go see her and she will take the BEST care of you! You wont regret finding time in your schedule to visit this place!

Excellent food and service! We try something new each visit and the sandwiches on wheat grilled with a little real butter are yummy. The coffee is roasted on site, and everyone raves about it. Lots of seating options, including a classic front porch, casual loungy spots, reading spaces, family dining, kids reading and play area plus side and rear patios.

Always love coming here. Such a lovely establishment. The coffee is exactly what I need in the mornings. Everyone is so friendly, and the breakfast sandwiches are unique and delicious. Dont forget to get a muffin after breakfast. The pineapple is my favorite!

Love having this place in downtown Dunedin! Relaxing cafe atmosphere blended with nice boutique shop gifts. Very friendly owner and great indoor, porch, and backyard areas. Good sandwiches, coffee & tea drinks, plus beer, and live music some nights.

Had the Sandpiper Special, fried eggplant with grilled peppers and mozzarella on bread, it was fresh and delicious. Coffee is roasted in house and has full flavor, good enough that I bought a pound to take home. Definitely worth stopping by.

First time in Dunedin, looking for a local spot for breakfast. We had breakfast quesadilla and eggs Benedict. Both were outstanding! The owner and staff were great as well. We will go there again.

The Sandpiper is one of our favorite spots for breakfast in Dunedin! The breakfast Cuban sandwich is amazing and the coffee is delicious. Bonus: they also sell unique little gifts inside.
