Im now a snowbird and have never been artistic or joined anything. I came to Dunedin to recover from a severe heart issue. My Aunt dragged me over to DFAC to get me out doing something. From the very first person there I spoke with I have had nothing but positive interactions. I am from the Adirondack Mountains of NYS and have lived in the woods my whole life. I run a campground and do all the work to maintain it. My aunt knew I collected knives and made handles. She saw they had a bladesmith class and I stepped out if my safety zone and agreed to sign up. The bladesmith Ken Straight is amazing! He saw my passion for knives and went the extra mile for me. Ive since made two knives with him. Best expirence of my life! I also have met Bill Coleman from the metal arts shop. He to is an amazing man with a passion for metal. He exudes great passion for what he teaches and does there. These people all are remarkable to work with. Ill be back! I highly recommend them all!

Beautiful Free parking $10 admissions for adults Child stroller and wheel chair accessible Small cafe located near entrance. Coffee , tea, bottled water, sandwiches, quiche, crepes. The gift shop sells hand made jewelry by local artists . Some of the jewelry is made from recycled materials. I saw womens scarfs made from bamboo string, pottery and books. There is seating areas threw out the Art Center. Light walking, everything is located on ground level (no stairs). Expect to stay 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Amazing staff and volunteers, very friendly and welcoming.

I have been a student and am also an instructor at the Dunedin Fine Art Center. In both cases, I cant praise DFAC and its staff enough. The quality of art education that you receive is unparalleled. The facility is amazing and has now expanded to a second floor. If you want to see beautiful art, or learn a discipline in art, you dont need to look further than the Dunedin Fine Art Center.

As a long time member, I can say that DFAC is a jewel to our community and the greater North Pinellas area. Classes are offered in numerous areas and the facilities and instructors are first rate. Just check out the website. If youre into the arts, become a member.

My children have attended art classes as well as summer camp here. I cannot say enough good things about the programs, or the staff. A brilliant way to ensure your children are receiving the well-rounded education they deserve!

Todd was very rude. We have decided not to go here ever again. The place itself was cool, but not Todd.
