love this coffee shop! the place is super cute now with the new remodeling they have done. the food is very yummy , i have tried the belgian waffles OMG!! good. The lattes are adorable and they taste great, they leave you wanting more . my favorite is the Cafe Leo it has caramel and chocolate plus the great taste of coffee cant get any better. i have also tried the wraps and paninis they have a good taste but i enjoy there breakfast a lot more. The ambience is i would say relaxing and romantic they have that whole like traditional look with a little European i love it . The staff are super sweet and nice very attentive , the food doesnt take that long to come out i believe you wait the time needed for your food to come out fresh and yummy!! so i give Cafe Demetrio 5 am in love stars !!!

I visited Cafe Demetrio in Coral Gables many years ago. Today (Jan 21, 2017) I had my sights on a Pancake breakfast from Green Gables Cafe across the street from Demetrios. But I failed to observe operating hours and found the place closed. Nevertheless, since I was there already I figured that giving Demetrios another try was the logical alternative. Found and ordered the French Toast in the menu, and although not impressed felt that at least I gave it a shot! Nice Cafe, but not impressed with food or coffee. Maybe for having a talk or a quick meeting is ok. I would visit again, there has to be something worthwhile in Demetrios for a Vegetarian that likes other alternatives like Coconut Milk alternatives etc.

Cafe Demetrio is a great place for the casual breakfast/lunch meeting or a casual encounter with a perfect stranger. In addition to great coffee, they offer a menu that includes omelettes, croissants, empanadas, soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and delectable desserts. My personal favorites are the croissants and the tuna sandwich. The Cafe Demetrio and cappuccino are must trys. Seating is available inside and in the patio under the shade of an 80-year old Banyan tree. The WiFi is free for customers and electrical outlets are available both inside the coffee shop and in the patio. On-street metered parking is plentiful in the surrounding area and several parking garages are within walking distance as well.

This is an inviting lovely place for lunch. I had the spinach soup (no cream) was delicious but a bit salty. The half Mexican sandwich with a side of guacamole, pico of tomates and onions and tortilla chips and of course a double espresso con panna in a regular cup (ask them for a regular cupa and not those tiny espresso cups for a double espresso) Everything so yummy. Beautiful old feel classy place. It has a piano, TV above piano and a pretty garden in the back. The women are friendly and super helpful with menu ..and the good looking waiter is very serious.

Love this place. Very zen and pretty to look at. One of my favorite sandwich places. Soup is homemade and super yummy, its a great way to get my vegetables servings for the day with their pumpkin puree soups. Desserts are even better, my favorite is the napoleon but they are all good. Italian hero or smoked salmon sandwiches are my favorites... Update... The sandwiches have changed to thick slices which are saltier and more commercial... Dropped this place from my favorite list.

So this place seems straight out of a story book. This is the last place we stopped at on our way back home. It was definitely a breath of fresh air from dealing with the crowded SOB restaurants. We ordered the Belgian waffles and the salmon omelette with a strawberry fresa and of course their famous drinks. They were all spectacular. Our waffles came out super late and they were very gracious and gave us 2 free Americano so it was still a great experience!

My absolute favorite coffee house! Im lucky enough to have it within blocks from my place. The best coffee (their specialty coffee "Cafe Demetrio" is incredible), customer service is on point, and I love the interior, as well as the tree covered courtyard! a very special place to sit with a good book, or a friend, to enjoy their amazing coffee and food! my only complaint is that theyre not open on Sundays! :(

Waited about 15 minutes for two iced coffees while the servers argued amongst themselves. When they finally gave them to me they made them with regular milk although I had requested, and paid for almond milk. If the servers werent so busy bickering with each other about everything, they might actually do an okay job. Annoyed that it took over 20 minutes to get two iced coffees.

They are truly fantastic. They make cappuccinos with hearts inside. I can take my lap top and work quietly. The food is excellent. They also allow small dogs outside. I dont know why this is not advertised. This place is a little gem if you are looking for something authentic and unique. Probably one of my favorite spots in all of Miami. Yes I bring Gucci!!!

My favorite place in in the Gables, by far, to just hang out before or after dinner. The coffee is amazing and so are their desserts (they have sandwiches too, but I have to admit that I havent tried them yet). Be sure to sit in the patio. Its under a beautiful, old tree and its great for people watching under the stars.

Omg, the coffees here are sooooo good!! Just the right amount of milk, and theyre syrups are delish. The puffs are also an excellent snack while sipping your coffee. We got the cinnamon sugar and blueberry ones, both divine. Highly recommend. Bottomless mimosas with fresh squeezed orange juice also doesnt hurt :)

Very poor customer service. I asked for a guava juice they falsely present as real fruit juice, and it was made with guava jam. Asked to be exchange for another juice (orange) and the manager said no and did not even come out to explained why. Not planning to come back even though their food is excellent.

Very awesome place, specially in the backyard that has this amazing italian style where you can eat under the trees and enjoy the fresh air. I personally recommend going for breakfast while theres not much people so you can really experience it the best way.

Great cafe, free wi-fi, tasty food. I love the atmosphere as well, so relaxing and the servers are very friendly. I always like to take a trip here during a morning on the weekday or lunch. Ive come with some friends to also show them the cute spot. :)

Charming location, pleasant staff. Yet, order was wrong, no bread, appetizer came half-way through dinner, dinnet was meh... Dissappointing! I should have walked away when the waiter asked us if Cabernet Sauvignon was a white wine. #listentomyintuition
