The service: SUCKED The food: SUCKED The ambiance: SUCKED The experience: SUCKED Im still ticked that we stopped there instead of just getting pizza. We got there and the place on the outside looked nice. We got seated and what did we see? A WALL?!?!?! Then we had a waitress that looked like she shouldve been working at a 50s American diner, NOT a Mexican restaurant. She was RUDE with NO personality. When the chips and salsa came out I knew we were in for trouble. The salsa was so spicy that we killed off some taste buds and I like spicy?!?!? uhhhhgg. Then my husband ordered white queso, he got a bowl of velveta and salsa which tasted HORRIBLE. My burrito had more cheese than meat, vegies and sides combined. It had no flavor. Taco Hell, I mean Taco Bell has better food than this place. My husbands meal was equally terrible. We were so disappointed. Not only was our visit to Cocoa a complete waste of time, but our lunch stop put the cherry on top of a crappy cake. Dont bother, this place SUCKS and the service may be good if you are a regular. And what gave that away was our RUDE waitress sat with some people. Oh, btw we had to go to the counter to get our ticket because she never brought it out. What a crappy experience.

The chips and salsa were decent but nothing to get excited about. The dinner was really good though. I really enjoyed the chicken flautas with guacamole. The rice and beans were good. I just really didnt enjoy the dessert. The flan was good but the fried ice cream wasnt. The texture was very grainy and unpleasant. Ive had fried ice cream in other places and this one was the worst. We also ordered a key lime pie to go, and it was awful. I LOVE key lime pie, and again, this was the worst Ive had. Way too tart. I couldnt finish it. The drinks were really good, especially the Malibu punch. Overall, good food. I just wouldnt get dessert here again.
HI
Hi Expectations
We tried everything del mar.. That is with shrimp and crab. We had the enchiladas and chimichanga.. Shrimp seamed super cheap and frozen and not sure about the crab because you couldnt taste it, sane goes for both dishes. We also tried seafood nachos, they sounded great but once again, cheap shrimp kinda ruined it. Chips were the only good thing we tried, nice and hot, salsa is just okay.

experience. Been there 5-6 times over past 3years. Never had great food or service. Service can be extreanly slow, food is ok not good. Marg specials week and weird tasting. Cute place but seating layout is uncomfortable anb aukwardly arranged. Mexican food is or very favorite. We had rather go to Labamba on us1 or La Fiesta on N A1A much much better food and Margs.

Cinco de mayo Party. This was advertised in the paper by Florida today. 5/5/2015. Terrible. Absolutely no service. We came early were sat down given some chips and that was all. Not asked or given opportunity to even get a glass of water. I understand a Mexican holiday will be busy but you should have more staff and better organization for a "party". Avoid.

Stopped in Port Canaveral on a cruise, met a few friends, went to Cocoa beach and this great restaurant was right on the beach!! Fast service and good standard American Mexican food. Fajitas were hot and not a big grease puddle in the pan like some mexican places. Bar service was excellent, their margaritas were one of the highlights of our vacation!

I love Mexican food, this is by far the best. Whether youre a local or not the food is freshly made daily and delicious! Also, the staff are amazingly friendly, and you can tell that they sincerely care about your experience as a guest there. Its inside the Resort on Cocoa Beach. They also have a great happy hour..2-4-1 House margaritas 4-6 everyday!

This place is a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in The Cocoa Beach Resort. Google Maps directs you near The Hiltons parking lot, so dont get lost like me. Food was good, prices were good, chips needed salt - but still good. Definitely a place to try if youre bored with the usual on A1A. Get the lunch burrito!

This place is amazing. The article in the New York Times was absolutely right. Great food and definitely the best margaritas on the beach. We stayed at the Hilton right next door and came in two nights in a row! Bartender was wonderful, good looking and very personable.

Whole restaurant is run by Spanish family Had high hopes!!! Salsa was canned tomato sauce with chunks of onions and peppers, chips were awesome though! Everything seemed reasonably priced, but everything is al a carte. Fajitas $11.95 to add cheese and lettuce was $3.

Well the food was terrible. Not sure how you can screw up rice and beans but the decor was great good drinks ordered fajitas it had to be pre-cooked chicken that was overcooked. Totally nasty! The resortis really nice but the food at this place is not edible!

Phenomenal food, really big portions. I got an appetizer for a meal, and it was filling. A pitcher of beer is pretty cheap here. Nice, atmosphere, at least when its not too crowded. Chips are just right. Very friendly, very good service.

No wont be going again. The service was too bad. The chicken was too chewy and not grilled at all. Chips were way too oily and then bill came with an additional beer which we never Oder. After complaining also they didnt change.

Great food and good service. Lime margaritas are delicious, and they have pitcher specials. The hot salsa is a must(not intense, just darn good).

Its a bar in the hotel, that happens to make food labeled Mexican. Mostly awful, but so far I havent seen much better in Cocoa Beach.
