Great local watering hole with super specials ranging from fried Ipswich clams to Amazing fresh fish tacos (taco Tuesdays). Strombolis are ridiculously huge and good ( my family is New Jersey Italian) and different drink specials all day long, not just happy hour! I.e. $3 mimosa and Bloody Mary all Sunday and $5 margaritas Tuesdays. This place is mostly locals, we got offered bday cake last time, but its worth the trip from pretty much anywhere...our nanny freaked out when we brought pizza and burgers home for take out they were so good!

It would be easy to dismiss this place, BUT the place is GREAT. Keep in mind it s more bar then restaurant. The food is what bar food should & could be! We had the ahi nachos app, good, they should consider a wassabi dressing on top,what was there was good. Wife had veggie grill cheese...awsome,,almost gave up my black n blue burger for it. Blue cheese stuffed burger. Fries. Best part of all this,,was bartenter (Jay) he made us feel like locals and had us laughing the whole time, after a bad day with traffic.

Well, I walked in and was not greeted or even recognized of my presence. Awkwardly sat down, then our waitress awkwardly took our drink order. The whole vide was if you were not a regular you were treated different. The food was ehh not bad not great, fries were good though. When the waitress gave us our check she just sat it down and walked away.

Finally a decent cup of coffee. Server is great. Very clean, great smells from the kitchen. Breakfast and brunch is great and the pizza is above average. Perfect alternative while visiting the marina across the street. First place that had a kids menu with crayons to keep the little ones occupied -they were very happy! Great place

Island Way resident did not have a good night at Windward Grill. Clam Chowder was more like a vat of garlic, no clams or potatoes. Black and Blue burger looked delicious, however took a bite and pulled out a long hair. Waitress stated they are only guys in the kitchen. My response they dont have hair. Disgusted got up and walked out.

Great small bar with really good food. Had the pizza which was really above average. Great hand-tossed crust, nice stringy cheese, and meatball topping was very tasty! Fine place for children as we actually took a break from the Clearwater Aquarium, which is literally across the street.

Great place! Nice clean local joint. good natured local crowd. Excellent service, great food! Fish tacos were the best Ive had in a while; a fillet in each. good beer selection. Was stranded last week on Island Estates due to traffic accident, next time I stop in it will be on purpose.

4 of us (2 kids) went for late lunch. Ordered Calamari and got it back with a strand of hair in it. This ruined our appetite and worse yet, waitress was not apologetic. We were starving and the pizza we ordered tasted good.
