Came in and bought $100.00s in wings and drinks. Stopped at familys house to eat. Out of the 75 wings, 45 of them were not at all as dictated. The Honey Mustard was watered-down mustard, and had a hint of honeys within a mix of 30 wings. The Pineapple Teriyaki was very pungent with soy sauce and no savory of pineapple not sweet teriyaki within 15 wings. I called and spoke calmly and respectfully to the waitress and disclosed my concern. She placed me on hold and came back to tell me that the owner said he would gladly trade them, so I said okay let me think. Next thing you know, the guy comes on the phone claiming to be the owner and doesnt even ask me anything; he just starts to talking "AT" me. Owner: "Sir. I dont know what your problem is, but please excuse me for being frank but weve never had anyone ever complain about our House Famous Honey Mustard Wings, and spectacular Pineapple Teriyaki. Honestly, we are family restaurant ad take pride in our food. WE ARE NOT LIKE SOME CIRCLE K WHERE YOU CAN BUY A HEINEKEN AND RETURN IT BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE IT. WE CANT CONTROL WHAT YOU TASTE!" At this point Im at shock and responded calmly. Me: "First off sir, Im glad you take pride in your food, but who might want to hire to kitchen staff. I was willing to take a swap of the wings or even take a credit because its late and give it to my family up here in the Cape, but after your blatantly rude comments to a customer, who at no point ever asked for money. Sir, my family has own a 24/7 restaurant for over 60 years and both my wife and I have cooked for a combination of both 40 years, and worked with Food Network personally for competitions of which we have won. So, since you stand by your wings, let me gladly bring you back your product and have you taste these wings for yourself. If you love them, keep them and my money. He said he cant because of his heart but can have some else eat them. I said: What type of owner cant have his own wings of pineapple teriyaki and Honey mustard. You best believe Im driving back to not only get money, but to see him eat his product! I get there right as they are closing and trying to leave right at 10pm and everyone was outside closing the door. I asked the kind waitress who served me who the owner was and she said he had left, but the kitchen manager was outside with the goatee. I go outside and talk with this man and he acted as if I didnt know who the hell he was, but listened. I asked him to try his product. Next thing you know, the younger manager who claimed to be the owner gives me back my money in an envelope and tells me here, just a leave. Gets in his car, and drives off. I wish Ramsey can come here and put this family to shame for their overly salted soy sauce in the teriyaki sauce, and watered down mustard.

I made my first visit to Wingnuts with my family after hearing many favorable reviews. What a mistake it was. Our server greeted us in a friendly manner and took our order. As we waited for our food we had the Joy of watching her scratching and digging at her face, chest, neck, and back rather feverishly like a dog trying to dig up its favorite bone in the back yard. Occasionally she would pause and wipe her nose and run food to other customers. When she got tired from doing this she would lean against the soda cooler and take puffs of of an e-vapor cigarette and slowly let the vapor roll down her chest and stomach . This continued for the twenty minutes it took to make our food. When the food arrived the wings were very mushy even though we specifically asked for them to be well done. The sauces were very bland and some of the wings looked like they had been chewed on already. Of course those wings were at the bottom of each basket so we got to enjoy a few of our mushy bland wings before seeing those little treasures buried in our baskets. We left most of the in the baskets paid our bill and left. We were too disgusted to even ask for a refund or to have the food remade. I would never recommend Wingnuts to anyone under any circumstances. The show put on by the server was downright disgusting. She had no regards for cleanliness or health standards what so ever. The food was bland mush that was overpriced. Our visit to Wingnuts in Cape Coral brought no joy to myself or my family.

I have eaten here maybe a half dozen times over the past few years. Overall pretty good wing place, best I have found in the Cape. I have tried several sauces and they can be a little hit and miss in my opinion, I found that sticking to the more tradition style buffalo sauces usually works best for me, I love the extra hot, it is seriously hot but not like "eating competition" or "this must be a joke" hot. I want crazy about the garlic sauces I tried because of the big chunks of garlic, but if thats your thing you will probably love them. There are so many sauces to choose from that I think a brief description of the flavor elements in each sauce would guide customer choices better. For example, its fine to have a sauce named "Partly Sonny" but I have absolutely no idea what that is going to taste like and in the past when I asked about sampling a sauce I was refused. I suppose I could play twenty questions with a server about what each one tastes like but that just seems annoying. The atmosphere is nice in my opinion and always appears to be clean. The prices seem quite reasonable, whenever a wing place sells wings by the wing instead of by the pound I assume Im going to be served scrawny little hummingbird wings but these wings seem to range from good sized chicken to pterodactyl size. The owner is mentioned several times in the other reviews. I met him briefly a couple times. My limited interaction with him left me with no complaints. He seemed like a friendly enough dude.

Food cooked to order. I asked for Crispy wings, perfect, My wifes burger, perfect, The kids meals VERY good with no crying, Fries very original and the sauces great as well. BE ADVISED -------- Read the menu and DO NOT ASK ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT ALL THE RULES OF THE MENU. The owner will GO OFF on you as we witnessed. The drunk OWNER bartender treating people like 5Hit = poor to VERY POOR. The food you could fix which did not need fixing. The owner how ever Took forever to get drink refills and the owner was drinking and texting ALL THE TIME. This is one of those places where everything works EXCEPT HAVIONG THE OWNER AT THE BAR DRINKING. The more he drank the ruder he was to people. The regulars were familiar with the rudeness but a few of us at the tables were glad we were not at the bar where this owner/bartender was right in peoples faces. This guy needs to take a lesson from the book of treat clients like you want them to return. fOR THE WAY HE TREATED US AND OTHER AT THE TABLE and really really at the bar, PASS BY THIS PLACWE IN A HURRY. RUDE RUDE RUDE AND SLOW SLOW SLOW SERVICE. THE OWNER BARTENDER DRUNK AND DRINKING ALL THE TEXTING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOOD was ok if you can stomach the owner. for us NO.
