Ive shopped at Publix for over 20 yrs. Overall their customer service is far superior to their competitors whether I shop in Georgia or Florida.I must say the Publix at this location has consistently been the worst that I have experienced at any Publix supermarket.At times you can stand in long lines to purchase just one or two items.Most Publix stores pride themselves on fast and courteous service.This is the only Publix that sometimes makes me feel like I am at Wal-mart instead of Publix.The Publix at Holmes Beach has a much better,faster customer service and check out than this store despite the Holmes Beach store being at a tremendous disadvantage with space,inventory,& bigger crowds to deal with. The only negative I can think of with Publix stores is their shopping cart corrals. They are virtually impossible to access at every location,due to poor planning & foresight

LOVE this store. They have an excellent vegetarian and organic selection. However, the parking is usually a BEAR. There are a lot of stores that share the same parking area. On Sunday afternoons, its not as bad. The staff here is awesome, mostly young people. Id say high schoolers. That means theyre quick to get something you forgot. The produce is always fresh, as are the refrigerated products. Ive not found one item out of date or moldy at this store. (I switched from another store because of this). And finally, as with every Publix store, LOTS of BOGOs!

The store itself is very clean and in a great location if youre on the way to the beach. However the prices and the atrocious customer service have driven me to try other nearby grocery stores instead. Hopefully in a year I can try this store again and theyll have shifted out all the horrible employees I encountered and drop their prices to be more in tune with the needs of all customers.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kim in the food court who not only didnt have order ready when it was time to pick up, but destroyed our subs. In a rush, dropping spoons, messy and sloopy subs that where cold for a simple meatball sub. She has no business in that dept period. Charging $7 for a sub with that kind of production is BS. If your gonna do a job, do it right not half ass.

Spoke w Pharmacist today who was very helpful as well as compassionate. Also I needed help putting water in cart as was too heavy for me and after loading myself almost 300.00 of groceries w no meat I had help to my car. Everyone was great.

Loved this store, but moved across town so dont use it as much as I used to. The people at the pharmacy are simply awesome. They keep me coming back for all my prescriptions.
