We moved to Auburndale about three months ago, and every time we passed this place it was always busy! It must be great, we thought. Finally went there for breakfast. It was noisy, which was good because our kids were noisy too. The menu had something that appealed to every member of our family. Everything was fine. Then our food came. Our kids pancakes looked great, and it was a large portion for a kids meal. Our portions however, much smaller. My mom ordered french toast and got one piece of bread cut in a triangle. We had ordered scrambled eggs to avoid runny over-easy eggs common in many restaurants, and were diasappointed that our scrambled eggs were not fully cooked either! My grits were not cooked all the way, and I am certain they were instant, so how is that possible? The country fried steak was crispy, which at a lot of places it is not, but the sauce on top was flavorless. The prices were good, the food was not. We will not be returning.

It’s Tuesday morning at 8:30 and the four of us arrive at the Clock Restaurant in Auburndale, Fl for our weekly Polk County area breakfast or lunch outing. None of us had ever eaten in this Clock location before. My wife ordered eggs benedict and they were perfect, including the hash browns. The other orders were eggs cooked scrambled and over light, pancakes, sausage and bacon. Everything was cooked correctly and very tasty with reasonable prices. We left about 10am very pleased with our weekly choice. The service was very good and friendly with a very experienced staff. The booths and decor could do with a renewal but it will do. We didn’t go to the Ritz!! All and all we gave the Clock Restaurant a big thumbs up for food and service.

Ate there a week ago on a Thur at 11:30 pm. It was me, and my son, and another table in the whole restaurant. Both me, and my son ordered breakfast and it took us a good 45 mins to get it, and like I said there was only one other table in the restaurant and they were already eating. I stopped going there when it was the clock, but thought I would give it a try again being it was now called Kerrys Clock, but still the same disappointment. I believe this place will close down some time in the near future. My new place to go is Toms Place, the food is good, and the prices are great!

My husband ordered a mushroom & cheese omelet, when he began eating it he realized that it was a western omelet and when the waitress took the ordered she had written western omelet and charged us for the mushrooms and cheese, when we spoke to the woman manager that was at the register she basically said "oh well", terrible customer service, would you have not reimbursed for the mushrooms & cheese since it was not our error. The mananger is rude, we will never return there asnd we will tell everyone how bad the service is there . J. Hechmer Auburndale, FL

The place has steadily gone down hill since new owners took over. Today it took an hour to get our order of simple bacon and eggs. We were told there was only one cook on duty, on the 4th of July ...he only cooks one order at a time causing huge delays. Bacon has only half cooked, and had remnants of other UNKNOWN food from the grill stuck to it. Eggs were ordered medium came out over easy so the whites were like runny snot. Manager didnt even offer to do anything about the situation. This will be our last visit there. We DO NOT recommend this place at all!

This place needs to be shut down. I went there about a week ago, I orderd the chicken finger basket,and my friend orderd the seafood basket. The place looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years. When we got our food, my chicken was literally dripping, and it was undercooked on the inside, it tasted like it had been fryed with my friends seafood, vice-versa. AND the whole time I was there the waitresses we sitting around gossiping. It SUCKED. It SMELLED. Its just not good at all.

We eat there a lot. Food is good. Night manager better than day manager. Day manager nice lady just does not cater to customer service. Servers are mixed, some good some bad. Some appear as if there minds are miles away. Cook can be problem depending on who is cooking. Decor can use work, water comes down from ceiling when rains. Value good for amount of food. Never any unwanted items in my food. Need to focus more on customer service and decor.

The wait staff here actually gives the rating its higher mark. They try very hard to please the customer and most times have to overcompensate for the quality of the food. The food is usually a hit or miss gamble. Sometimes its good and other times I wonder why I go back. Your best bet is the breakfast menus. The tea there is always good, so here you go, stop in for a ice tea.

The food there has gotten worse ,& the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Its sad but when they did the"so called REMODELING" they made it very in personable. Theres no more privacy, the ceiling looks nasty, the ladies room looks nasty. Come on somebody put a Dennys bb or Perkins, or I Hop in there. 24 hour service with good food & clean.

My daughter and I and my 2 grandkids went mid afternoon. They were a bit busy but we didnt have to wait for our meals. I got the chopped sirloin and 2 sides and soup. WELL WORTH the $9. Good flavor and good portion sizes. Homemade style chicken noodle soup. Friendly staff.

4 stars... because theres always room for improvement. .. although I dont know where... 1 girl on the floor. .. she was busy but managing well. Very polite and good memory. ...! Place was clean, kitchen neat and orderly. I was vary satisfied!!!! Ill be back.

This resturant makes you feel like home. The food is spectacular and the servive with Mrs Ann is courtious, and she anticipated my needs and gives you. service with a smile. Love this place. Everytime I come in this restaurant the service is 5 stars...

Food was great. Our family thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered. Servers were attentive and friendly. Only down side would be it took a little longer than expected to get our food. And the place could use a good cleaning. Will definitely be going back.

This was the worst service Ive ever had , waited for 35 minutes and we didnt even get our drinks ended up deciding to leave . ( side note , the place was not even that busy and the waitresses where just standing around) never going back .

The lunch staff was unfriendly and inattentive during lunch. The lunch deal and eggs took over 15 minutes to arrive and when mentioned about time there was no apology. This was our first time and last time going there. Oh food was okay.

It use to be great but since the owner change its crazy prices for half the food! We had a 80$ dinner for 4 people. And nothing special.chickin wings and sausage gravy! Definitely beyond ridiculous. No stars wow hate the new changes!

Boy, this place has gone downhill since i was last here 15 years ago. Turkey melt sandwich was super greasy, fries were under done, toast was so cold it couldnt melt butter, flies visited us more often than waitress . . . Avoid.
