I had heard great things about this place, and was excited when I finally had the opportunity to go. We arrived when it was about half full. The empty tables were all dirty, so we just sat down in one. It took several minutes to even be acknowledged by our waitress, Christine, and at least five minutes before she bussed our table. Several groups of people arrived after we did, and for whatever reason, she was able to attend them but ignored us. People that came in 20 minutes after we had, had eaten and left before we were served our food. It took her over a half an hour to take our order, then almost another half and hour before we were served our food. Our coffee cups sat empty almost the entire time (In the course of this incredibly long, drawn out meal of well over an hour to get breakfast, we were only offered 1 refill on our coffee). I at one point tried to be understanding to the waitress that she must be very busy, and she very flippantly said she was actually kind of bored, so I was left to wonder why the service was so atrocious. Although my friend enjoyed her meal, my omelet was disgusting. It was unbelievably dry, the ham was grisly, and the vegetables were completely raw. Dennys serves better omelets, and theirs arent particularly good. By the time I got my food I was so hungry I was miserable. Needless to say, I wont be returning, and I would suggest to anyone considering going you will enjoy somewhere like Bob Evans more. If you decide to go there, anyway, be sure to eat first...

Well Im looking for consistency when I dine in. The food isnt bad at all, well everything isnt bad. I was NOT a fan of biscuits and gravy. At THIS LOCATION, the pancakes are like eating corn bread cakes. Sausage is great. Service not bad, but my coffee cup wasnt the cleanest. And once I notice something not clean, I kinda lose my appetite. I was more impressed the first time I went. Overall Im giving it a 3-4 because its not terrible. Not too expensive. But you can go to Dennys and get 2+2+2 eggs, pancakes, and bacon for $4.00 and the pancakes are more filling than TBC. At TBC its 5.95 For three silver dollar pancakes +2+2 but they arent filling. Very thin and corny. Lol one of Dennys pancakes would equal 3 of theirs. Just telling you about bargain. Let me tell you. Go to the one in Altamonte Springs. Its a cleaner environment and an overall nicer looking restaurant. Theres two. Maitland and Altamonte and they arent created equally. The same restaurant has two different types of pancakes. And thats strange to me. I dont understand why the pancakes arent the same. Thats like going to IHOP and each location offering a different recipe for the pancakes. Who does that?

Clean establishment with friendly service! So many places have good reviews, and when you go there, theyre nothing like what was reviewed. This place looks like its been around a while. The seats are worn in, the decor is a little dated. But thats a terrific thing! A well established diner must be doing something right!! We pay a lot of attention to detail. The floors in the kitchen (the parts we could see) were clean, no dropped food, no smudges. The kitchen had tiled walls that did not appear grease stained. The ceiling fans are clearly dusted regularly, the tables are cleaned as soon as patrons leave. The bathroom was clean. Under the tables were clean, which means they must be swept regularly. I cant say that i found a single thing wrong w/ this place. The waitress even went out of her way to strike a conversation with my kids and make them feel grown up and special. This place deserves excellent reviews all around.

We arrived on Thursday morning to have breakfast around 10:20 We walked up to the counter and asked if we needed to seat ourselves. After being told yes, we sat down and watched as a waitress passed us twice and give menus to two other tables. After about 10 minutes another waitress comes to our table and asks are we eating in the restaurant, after telling her yes she says ok and walks away. Two minutes later another waitress walks up and asks us the same question and once again we respond yes. At this time we still have yet to receive menus. The final straw came when a couple walks in AFTER us. They sit down and a waitress goes straight to their table to greet them and immediately give them menus. Im sure the food would have been good if I ever had the opportunity to order and try it.

What makes a restaurant great to me is consistency. These people have incredible consistency from service to the food. This is the best bang for your buck you will find in Altamonte, guaranteed. Everything I have tried here is so delicious, like my grandmother used to cook it. The Omelets are huge and filled with meat, enough to take home for a second meal. The Eggs Benedict is simply perfection every single time (I order mine with Sausage) Everyone who works there is incredibly sweet and friendly. When I call for an order, they tell me the food will be done in X amount of time, and it is, every single time. If you are looking for some good breakfast or home-made style lunch, please just do yourself a favor and try this place at least once, I promise you will not regret it.

I love this place. They do everything right. Ive never ordered anything that wasnt amazingly prepared and wonderfully served. The wait staff are always at the top of their game; friendly, funny, and aim to please. You dont have to wait for coffee refills, the eggs are always cooked the way you order the them, home fries from heaven, and french toast that is second to none. I cant think of anything to complain about. Skip the chains and get the real deal here. The attention to detail is so great, that they messed up only one thing. They named the place after the wrong city. lol

Im actually trying to find out what all the rave reviews are about this place my wife and I just finished having breakfast sausages were overcooked eggs were dry.. country ham was extremely over-cooked like "wit leather".. what a waste of $20... the only good experience was the server was fantastic... we actually should have followed our first instinct Believe It or Not.... (Waffle House)... one big Advantage is EVERYTHING is cooked fresh to order and had taste to it

This is one of those restaurants that thrives on the business model of quality. As one of the servers put when I asked how they havent been more public with their advertising is that they are 99% return customers.. And I see why. I myself will be a return customers while I still am in the area and my wife and myself will be enjoying many future breakfasts at this wonderful establishment! Great food, great people, great times.. Reasonable prices!
