Avoid this place at all cost. We accidentally pour iced coffee into our cup which we thought was iced tea. Katherine, the attendant made us pay a second $4.25 for an iced tea when the coffee was never drank. This is an example of the poorest customer service possible. It is clear that our family will never eat here again and will share this experience with any one we meet. Perhaps Katherine has worked way to long in DC. She was about as customer service oriented as our government. Shame!

I expected the food to be pricey, but I was hoping for better quality and customer service. My sandwich was literally frozen in the middle. Since I took a couple of bites the staff was unwilling to replace it or even just heat it up. They kindly offered to throw it out since it was inedible. I asked them to wrap it up instead. The sandwich actually wasnt bad once it thawed a couple hours later.

This is the dining area in the Smithsonian Castle. The food was just okay but everyone working there seemed annoyed to be doing there job. Also, the signs were misleading about the pricing and when we mentioned it to the people working there, they just rolled their eyes at us and ignored us.

Very expensive but OK selection of food, mostly pre packaged & pre made. Given that all the museums are free its not too surprising the food is expensive. Its a convenient location, there were plenty of tables, and it was quiet and cool inside. See photo for what you can get for $40.

They were extremely overpriced. Three people cost $50 for mediocre sandwiches and prepackaged salads. Their customer service was good, and the environment was clean. If youre looking for a quick meal and dont care about the price, this place is perfect.

If you want overpriced, unflavored cardboard for lunch, by all means, go ahead. I will warn you, however, it will cost $75 for a family of four to eat cold sandwiches.

Overpriced poor quality food. Baked goods were stale, fruit cup was rotten. I didnt expect much but for those prices they could try to put out fresher food.

Ok food but expensive. $10 for a ham sandwich but it was the only option around besides a McDonalds truck.

Overpriced, low quality. Avoid at all costs.
