This used to be my favorite restaurant in Silver Spring, but now they have gotten popular and they dont know how to handle all of the business. The crepes are still delicious- best Ive ever had- but the service is awful. The last few times I have been, they have either gotten my order wrong or completely forgotten something that I ordered. The last time I went was the last time I will ever go and it is because of the way they handled their mistake. I ordered a hot chocolate and two crepes, a chicken pesto and a raspberry with nutella. When they brought out the order, they had forgotten the hot chocolate completely and brought a banana crepe instead of the raspberry. When I pointed out that the order was wrong, they tried to convince me that I had ordered the banana crepe by showing me the ticket. Then they took the crepe back and stuffed some raspberries on top of the bananas. I told them that I really did not want bananas in it, I just wanted the raspberry crepe that I had ordered originally. So, they took it back, scraped out the bananas and brought it back to me. By this time, my crepe had been handled so much that it was cold and soggy. They should have just made the crepe that I had originally ordered when they realized that they had gotten it wrong. This was handled so poorly that I will not be going back and I will not recommend it to anyone else.

Fenton Brunch Special Crepe $8 (4/5 NOMs). Only way to go is savory, Oh yea now thats the way to start the day off with crepe goodness. Now this hits the spot! Nice thick and full of nomnom toppings like turkey, cheese, eggs, mushrooms, tomato and avocado. Excellent balance between eggy cheesy goodness and light soft crepe. Stop by our new favorite small family own crepe place. Nutella and Banana Crepe $5 (4/5 NOMs). Today we eat NUTELLLA! You just got to start the day with desert crepes especially when nutella is involved. Nutella is amazing and everything and anything with it is super nomnom. Combine that with super light and flavorful crepes they make here you get great desert. Stop by this nice little family own cafe.

For an example of why customer service still/should matter read this. Reviews stated that space was very limited so I called to inquire about seating since we were walking from our hotel, the lady responded to my question "Do you have available seating?" with "We serve coffee & breakfast". So I changed it up with "Do you have room?" - silence. Then I ask "Are yall packed is it crowded?". She says "Can you call the blah blah blah?" I couldnt make out what she said so I just hung up. I bet the food would have been great, but would they get my order right? Probably not based on that. Also, no problem if youre English is rough, just dont answer the phone and be the "ambassador" for a company. Ill try again next time...maybe.

Fenton Cafe and their wonderful crepes are another bright spot on this drag out of downtown Silver Spring. Very affordable, very delicious. The crepes arent going to light the world on fire, but they definitely are great reminders of the street food of Paris and Montreal. With 32 sweet and 16 savory varieties, the menu is wide (if not often deep... many are simply variations of others). Great coffee, very friendly staff. The place seats at most 16, but if youre willing to share a table its a great way to linger the morning away. Plenty of ample parking either on street or at the two nearby county surface lots both a block away in either direction.

The food here is excellent, however I would have to say the service and friendliness of the staff could use some work. They argued with my wife and myself when we tried to use a Groupon for a late dinner, even though they offer this coupon virtually everyday. I will give them full marks on the food, they are delicious crepes and the nutella and strawberry one is to die for. I would recommend going just for the food, however with a little change in their service and attitude, it would become one of my favorite local places.

Yes, their crepes are pretty good but they are not quite in the same league as original pancake house. The service was atrocious! The guy taking the order had no clue. It took about a half hour to get our food after ordering and then they messed up 3 out of our 4 crepes which were simple orders aright off the numbered menu. The restaurant is cramped and uncomfortable with insufficient seating. I would try somewhere else before coming here for crepes...

The Belgian chocolate crepe was delicious and ENORMOUS. Most crepe places skimp a bit on the filling, but this is the one time when there may have been too much, not to mention the generous amount of powdered sugar and syrup on top. My savory eggplant crepe was not particularly spectacular, though. Ill definitely come back and sample some of the other menu items. The nutella crepes and lemon sugar crepes sound particularly appealing.

I love this place, I have NO idea how they havent made it big yet. I would come here every day if I could! Watching the creation of the crepes was interesting, and the variety is awesome. They present it beautifully and are very humble when you thank them for the miracle they just cooked. Literally some of the best food I have ever, ever had. I would recommend any crepe with nutella! :D

Food was just OK, coffee doesnt include real milk, service was HORRIBLE! I had to ask twice for a glass of water. After 20 minutes we asked how our food was coming along, they said its on the way. After 30 minutes 2 tables that had arrived well after us both had their food and we were still waiting. Once I pointed this out they started making our 2 crepes.

Nice family owned local joint for sweet and savory crepes and drinks. The standard nutella and banana crepe was good although I wish it was a little bigger/fuller. Regardless Im grateful for local places places like this that have been a part of the community for a while, plus I dont know if any other crepe places in the area.

3.5 perhaps. They do make pretty good crepe which goes well with coffee. But the space makes it very hard to return coz nobody wants to venture their way out to find no viable seats to fit even a group of 4 people in a cafe or restaurant... Still, pretty good crepe in the area, better than average.

I checked in Zeni Restaurant whuch is located in the center of MD Downtown Siliver spring. The Restaurant environment is supper very good. The Shint siga tibs is delicious. The employees are very friendly. Specially Tsion is very friendly. Thank you Zeni team for your special service tonight!

Gosh! What is it about these crepes that make me dream about them all day. They are so addictive! Its a small restaurant, with a few staff and often quite a number of customers so I go when its not lunch time. But is it worth the wait? Absolutely! Im heading out to grab some more right now.

You would never look twice at this place if you drove past it, but I had the chance to try it out recently. What a great little restaurant! The crepes were GREAT, there was a big selection to choose from, the prices were very good, and the portions were very generous.
