My husband and I decided to stop here this morning while we were on our way to do some grocery shopping. We were seated right away, however, no server came to greet us. While my husband went to the mens room, I figured someone would approach me to take our drink order. My husband returned right away and was surprised he didnt have a cup of coffee waiting for him. I informed him no one had come to take our order or anything. After another 10 minutes had passed and still no server, although there were servers at all the other tables around us. We even had a server look our way but didnt even approach us. Were we supposed to flag someone down? We stood up to leave and as I was putting on my coat a woman who probably was the manager asked if a server had come to our table, I responded no. She asked if she could help, again I responded no. Needless to say we will not be spending our money at this Bob Evans. Your loss was Middletown Diners gain as we were seated and served within a couple of minutes of arriving. The Middletown Diners food was awesome and arrived nice and hot, which we enjoyed tremendously. The service at the Middletown Diner was exceptional from the person who seated us, to our server to the cashier. So thank you Bob Evans because if you had served us today, we would never have found the Middletown Diner!

I dont normally leave reviews but Ill make an exception in this case. First when we arrived there it was not that busy and no one ahead of us but yet no one was available to greet us or seat us. After a while a girl came to the counter to help people check out and she waved a tall young guy with glasses over to seat us and he immediately looked annoyed that we were there. He barely said two words to us. We had 2 young children with us and normally at other Bob Evans we are offered booster seats or high chairs. That did not apply here. We then had to wait a while before anyone came to our table and at that point the waitress just said she was busy and would be back soon. She was pleasant but when it came to the menu she didnt seem to know it will. This was the first time Ive ever been to a restaurant and wanted to just be done so I could leave. Middletown has other options so I would tell people to avoid Bob Evans here and go somewhere else.

Poor service, good coffee, good salad even with the wrong dressing, terrible main course, it was so salty, so salty that it ruined the taste of everything, worst food I think Ive ever had in a restaurant and everyone with me thought their food was also overly salted. None of us finished our meals, told the waitress and cashier that it was so salty but they were not concerned at all. Will never eat here or at any bob evans ever again.

I love bob evans and have even worked at the milford de store...i have eaten at this location in middletown several times and each time i leave very displeased with the service and quality of food ..this store definitely does not meet bob evans standards ...servers dont even smile and the managers are unseen aside from greeting you at the door ..usually they float around the dining room checking on guests, food appearance, etc...

Its Bob Evans (think a chain type diner). From breakfast to dinner offerings. We usually have better luck at this BE vs others in the surrounding area. The staff is always nice and prompt. The few times we have had an issue, they waitress has been quick to fix it our the shift manager promptly resolved the matter food and bill wise.

Horrible experience. Manager was rude and did not even apologize for the cold food that took a significant amount of time to reach us. Would not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE. It was simply unacceptable the way she treated customers and her own employees.

I have come here a few times and it seems like we have an exceptionally long wait to be seated. The servers also seem like theyre in a hurry to get you in and get your check and get you out. It reminds me of a truck stop or a diner.

When I went I had a really good experience. The waitresses were so nice, and the food was steaming hot so I had to blow on it. It was really good. I got myself stuffed (and tipped) for like $10.

After being on the road all day, it was nice to come in and rest with a hot meal. Our waitress was friendly. The food came out fast and hot. I had the Boasted Chicken and it was good.

This place has gone down hill. Not as good as it once was. Seemed like every one there was miserable. Place was dirty. Food was luke warm. Just not like I remebered.

Good food, good service, good value and very clean! Great for families. My kids loved it and I was very happy with the kids menu. It is our new go to place.
