Ate here Oct 16 Little gem in Waterbury, mainly the food here is already prepared, daily specials had the tenera (meat) with rice and red beans - awesome taste , i asked for the normal portion not lunch special ($9) what a deal the portion was h u g e ! The lunch special is $6 and is everyday - dis notice they had chicken fricassee, pernil, mondongo, paticas de cerdo, and much more- they also had stuffed plantain! Awesome place , awesome staff- this is a spanish, limited english - so have patience , and it is a cash only place.

a bit small but so far the best spot for spanish food.love the pernil ..i like going there on lunch special.6$ with a soda but now its more and you have to buy the soda..still great price but last time the lady said she goes by her clock that i was late but in her clock there was 10 minutes left for lunch and in my clock 15 lol..i got mad but it was because i go there alot and you going to say im late. so i just left..but i might go back..but if you want lunch go early i guess

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time today! We didnt know much about the food & Pedro was very kind and helpful. Overall the experience was phenomenal. Restaurant was clean, the owner Pedro was awesome, food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

I was here today , best Puerto Rican food of this area, best of all I was told today, the rude lady is gone for good. Food was really good. Now serving tropical ice cream, i just had the coconut with piña, its truly delicious!!!

Love it!!! they need to deliver to the hospitals. the food is really awesome. tasty and reasonably priced. they have just about anything you could want. delicious! pleasant help if you dont understand how to order.

The plate was real expensive and the food was disgusting. If you get the cheap meat its $8 and if you get the fat filled calf meat or the dry steak they charge you $10. It was really bad.

Food taste very good, serving portions are plenty. New friendly people working at the front counter. The rude lady no longer works their. I will definitely recommend the restaurant.

This place used to be a lot better. The lady the serves the food is very pushy and impatient. No ppl skills at all. Food is inexpensive but the taste is not always consistent.

Better now since that lady left. You know the one that gave you change for a $10 bill when you know you gave her a $20 bill. The owners dad is very much missed. RIP.........
