it was a typical loud bar, nothing special. cheap looking, metal chairs. looks like a fast food kind of dining area. went here cause we heard the food was good. yea, the onion rings were good. but not anything spectacular. this is the 1st and only place that we were asked to leave. No, not because of something we did…we were asked to leave because other people were waiting to be seated. How RUDE! i was meeting old friends we had each drove an hour or more to meet there to catch up. i was shocked and we got up and left out of pure shock and anger. Even if we had paid and sat there for another hour, that is our right as paying customers. how many times do u eat, pay, and hang out a few mins to finish ur drink or pick at the food when your at a restaurant right? well we didnt even do that! we literally paid the check and got back the book to sign the receipt. signed it, put the pen down and over comes a guy who works there (not our waiter) and says "hey guys sorry but could u leave, we have a line." we were like uhhhh ok and got up and left. i will never go back. that is just rude. period. ive been to many busy restaurants and i have never heard of someone asking a guest to leave the second they pay. first bad experience ive had at a restaurant that makes me not want to ever go back.

Saturday night we decided that we NEEDED a veggie burger so we headed over to Knuckleheads on 80 Center Street, Wallingford CT. We have tried veggie burgers from all over the country but nothing compares to the delicious concoction that the cooks there have come up with. First off, you know this place is amazing when you can see a line waiting out the door before you even walk in. Needless to say, we were very happy that we ordered take-out. There are so many different kinds of burgers to choose from and each one can be substituted for a veggie burger. Our personal favorites are the Brie and the BBQ burger, although even a plain one is fantastic. What makes the veggie burger stand out from others is the consistency of the burger itself. Unlike other burgers made of vegetables, it does not have a chunky texture. Instead, the outside is perfectly grilled and crispy while the inside is so soft and flavorful that your teeth sink right through it. Regardless of which toppings you choose, this burger would even make the biggest carnivore’s mouth water. Don’t miss out on this great treat! Come early, tables are always packed!

The service and food here are amazing! Our server Emily was super attentive and friendly. First time here and were definitely coming back! The burgers were cooked just the way we like them, they were juicy and tender. And the sweet potato fries were crunchy and amazing. Wait for our food was not long either. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a good burger. Laid back atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Best wings ive had in a while. Real wings too, not that processed bullsh*t you see at buffalo wild wings and the likes. Sauces are AMAZING, and incredibly creative. The hot dogs are equally creative and delicious. You have to try the pulled pork and brisket as well. Very reasonable priced too. Great beer selection, many canned, local micro brews. Place is clean, and people are very nice and welcoming.

Little bit of a tight selection to choose from, but whats there is great. Had the Pig burger (forgot the exact name, so pardon), and it was delicious. A massive 9oz burger with tons of stuff on it and delicious fries on the side. Friends I went there with echoed the sentiment of everything being good. Even had a little but of a special order that was easily and very nicely taken care of.

Pig wings are awesome and huge, good honey BBQ sauce. Pulled pork Mac and cheese sandwich was great. Amazing fries, crispy and HOT. Good beer list. Fried cheese curds were the BOMB. Waiter was basically by himself but service was still good, we really appreciated it. Will definitely be back!

Probably one of my favorite places to go. Great mix of age groups which makes for a great atmosphere. Some of the best burgers around. The staff makes a point to remember repeat customers. Amazing beer selection that changes all the time which keeps it fresh and new on every visit.

Great craft beer selection. Rubbish food. A review below raves about the veggie burger so we ordered it. Yuck - a deep fried ball of mush. Best veggie burger in CT is probably from Plan B burger. Fried pickles were dry and tasteless.
