Let me start by saying the ice cream is great. This Carvel location only gets 3 stars because I was not thrilled about was the cleanliness of the store and the staffs level of professionalism. I suppose I am just used to the level of professionalism and cleanliness I see when I walk into the Watertown Carvel/Gs Burgers. I most likely will not go back to this carvel although I do recommend it to other people who dont care about presentation and only go for the delicious ice cream.

Im sorry but that white stuff they extrude into ice cream cones is not ice cream. its some non dairy product that has the texture of ultra thick ice cream.. but it doesnt taste at all like the real stuff. you can instantly taste something is off. I wonder what the heck it is...

Has gone downhill under the new owners. It used to be so clean in there like you could almost eat off the floor. Now when you go in there its pretty filthy. Went there last night at 8:45 and ordered a shake. Was told that I cant have one because they cleaned the mixer already

Going to the Carvel in Torrington, is like stepping back in the 70,s, the young ladies were very nice and professional, very nice place to go and have a ice cream, make good milkshakes.
