"We Dont Have Anymore of That" Ive never read so many negative reviews about a specific location before. You have to wonder what is going on here? I contacted the Cheesecake Factory directly from the drop-down menu on their web site to provide some feedback from two recent visits. Back in February 2017, my friend and I drove to the West Hartford, CT location. Upon ordering, we were told that the restaurant was out of two items that we wanted. Poor planning. Bottom line. Then in March 2017, the same friend and I drove to the Stamford, CT location. I ordered the white chicken chili. Then, the waitress returned a few minutes later to tell me that the restaurant was out of that item. So, I had to settle for something else. Once again, poor planning. Bottom line. I found it weird that in back to back visits, these two locations ran out of food that we were planning to order. So, I decided to contact the restaurants just to let them know of my experiences (essentially so that maybe this can be prevented in the future). A few days later, I received a phone call from a "Stephen" who was a manager at the Stamford location and asked for me to give him a call back. I did the next day, only to be told that there wasnt a "Stephen" who worked there. Another manager, named Andrew, told me it was a "David" who called me. I swear the message says, "Stephen" but no worries. Andrew initially seemed disinterested in chatting first, but was polite by the end of the conversation. He told me that he was sending me a gift card (which I didnt expect or even ask for, but it was a nice gesture on his part). To my surprise, the next day, I received an apology letter and a $25 gift card from the West Hartford, CT location. No one called me via phone, but the manager was nice enough to contact me via mail. She earned my respect. Andrew did send an apology letter and a gift card for $10 in the mail as he said he would. The $10 gift card would have almost covered the $13.75 bowl of white chicken chili that I would have ordered had it been available that evening and I drove 45 minutes for. Now, there are distinct differences on how the situations were handled. Neither is incorrect, but there is a slight contrast. Bottom line is that the corporate offices need to get these locations on the same page.

Yesterday, 6 of us had an early dinner. The service was HORRENDOUS! We had 4 different waitstaff and had to ask for everything. I asked for iced tea with extra lemon. It came with no lemon. Then I needed sweetener and had to ask. That took awhile. Waited, after asking 5 times for silverware. Very frustrating! I always order Thai lettuce wraps. They are really delicious, but the toppings were skimpy; barely enough of everything to top all of the wraps I made. And, thats just me. It took 20 minutes for the food to be served. I was 1/2 way through my meal when my husband got his. This is about the 4th time weve eaten here and think well have to wait awhile before we go back. There is a serious staff training problem! I noticed how the staff congregate at the station where orders are put in. Too much socializing, for sure. We love the food at Cheesecake and have regularly gone to the White Plains store and the Scottsdale Az. one. Arizona, definitely gets it right. Well trained staff and perfect service. I have a catering company in Stamford, appointed to the Leading Caterers of the World. I know what Im talking about!! I will wait awhile and try again. I hope things change!

So i went back two times after my early December visit to only get crappier service. If I could give it no stars, trust me i would. I went back to get a piece of Lindas Fudge cake ordered it to go and it was old. It tasted horrible and I could now do nothing about it because I was at my destination and they were closed. So no refund, nada. Just a waste of 9 dollars on a piece of old ass cake. Im just done trying to give any kind of restaurant in Stamford my time of day and or money. Then the service prior to that last visit my waiter was missing in action the whole night. How is it i ordered a cheeseburger and recieved it with no cheese. How does this that work? I simply asked my waiter to brown bag it for me after seeing that. It was supposed to be my birthday visit to the restaurant but by the end of what was now my second horrible in restaurant visit i didnt even want happy birthday to be sung by staff. Which is why my third visit was a to go order which obviously didnt work out for me. I love Lindas Fudge too but no one wants to pay their hard earned money on some stale food. Thanks Cheesecake

I used the Curbside Pick Up feature and was very disappointed. Firstly, when I called to place my order I was left on hold for 5 minutes. The man at the bakery who checked me out and gave me my order was incredibly rude. I had to ask for cutlery, he dug around under the counter and handed me 4 spoons and a fork and THREW them in the bag (for a steak entree.) I asked for a knife and he ROLLED his eyes, sighed heavily, disappeared under the counter again, came up with one knife and THREW it into the bag, shoved my bag across the counter at me, looked past me at the next customer, raised his voice and said "YES, NEXT!" obviously, dismissing me and therefore succeeding in not earning himself a tip, or the restaurant a return trip from myself or my family. We usually make a point of frequenting a Cheesecake Factory if we find one in the area, even if its a bit out of the way. This one is DEFINITELY scratched off the list.

I can say without hesitation that this is the worst cheesecake factory that I have ever been to in my 37 years of life. I thought we got lucky when there was no wait for Sunday Brunch. Never have I ever been to a cheesecake factory that didnt have some type of wait at any time of day. That should have been a sign that something was wrong. No wait - but I still didnt have my food for an hour. The food was terrible! The waitress took 30 minutes to even come back and check to see that the food was terrible. This place is TERRIBLE! If they are trying to win the crown of Worst Cheesecake Factory in America - They won already...its not even a competition. If the Cheesecake Factory CEO reads this, here is my message to you: 1) Fire Everyone... 2) Demolish The Building 3) Start Over Sincerely, One Thoroughly Disappointed Customer

I have gone here twice just to give this new cheesecake factory the benefit of the doubt and heres what Ive experienced. First day I went for brunch they basically had ran out of everything from eggrolls to Mac and cheese balls to stuffed mushrooms. Our waiter took forever for waters and bread! We ended up getting a new waiter not by choice. Second time I went just wanted cheesecake. Waited in what I thought was a line, but really was just two employees talking. When I asked are you in line he replys "no" and moves aside. The girl at the register however is rude lacks on customer service and seems like she doesnt want to be there. I will most likely be going to the white plains cheesecake factory as they are way more professional even though this is closer to my home. Very disappointing.
