If I could give Nicks Pizza 5 more stars, I would. I have been going to Nicks Pizza since 1996, and it is consistently fabulous all across the board in every single category. Whether eating together with friends, having a romantic dinner, or having a party; Nicks is definitely the place for good food. I have three passions: traveling, eating, and cooking. I travel for a living. Wherever I go, I am always disappointed by over-priced restaurants with mediocre food that claim they are the best (to include NYC). In all my travels (and this is no exaggeration), Nicks is the best Italian restaurant in quality of food, service, and price. You cannot beat it! And what I love is that they are not greedy, and jack up the price or slack in their service. At Nicks they are honest, humble, and hard-working. Their Margherita pizza is so refreshing with its flavors, thin crunchy crust, and perfect portion. You still feel light after eating it, and will always come back for more. The Penne Vodka pasta is so tasty and addictive that it never gets old (even when you reheat it the next day). I have eaten Penne Vodka all over the U.S., and nowhere even comes close. Every time I recommend it to a friend, they are always pleased. I wish Nicks would put up their Penne Vodka recipe against some of those over-priced "authentic Italian" restaurants in NYC and Jersey. Nicks would win hands down with no contest. I love their Chicken Marsala. It is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I cannot stand when you get a chicken breast entree at a restaurant and it is dried out, tasteless in the middle, and lacks garnishing. I am guessing Nicks probably tenderizes their meet very well by pounding it because each mouth-watering bite is full of flavor from beginning to end. The mushrooms they garnish it with are fresh, juicy, and plentiful. The wine selection is definitely a good variety, and the staff makes excellent recommendations based on what entree you order. Great pizza and Italian food which is consistently good and very reasonably priced. I have never been disappointed. If for some reason you would like to change something, or found it not to your liking, they will gladly adjust the food or replace it to your liking. The staff: from the owner Maria, to the managers, to the servers and cooks are accommodating, professional, nice, and efficient in every way. I recently had a party at Nicks and they were excellent and helpful in the price, service, and food. I would recommend Nicks to anyone who is looking to have a small party with a homely atmosphere. Great service, and great tasting food that is the same, if not better, than the Italian food you got at home. Maria and the staff are great. I trust their judgment and experience completely when they make a suggestion or change. They always courteously ask before they go through with a change in plans, but because of their experience, you dont have to worry. This last party I had at Nicks for my daughter made a perfect and very memorable day for my wife, myself, and all our guests. My guests are still talking about the great food, service, and atmosphere. When they ask about the cost, I tell them how much it cost, and they dont believe that "all that service and food only cost that much." The owner Maria is very fair and will go out of her way to make sure things are perfect. My wife and I were stressed in planning the party at first because we wanted everything to go perfect. However, once we got there, Maria and her staff TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING! My wife and I actually relaxed, ate our food, and could mingle with all our guests without a care in the world. Seeing and knowing that the staff at Nicks is this good, definitely makes me recommend them to anyone for catering or hosting a party there. Thank you for everything Maria and all the staff at Nicks. You really made my daughters event memorable and special to all of us. We all love your food, and will definitely come back again……real soon! :)

I visited my good friend in Stamford from MA and we decided to order pizza from Nicks. Over the phone they said it would take around 35 minutes. After an hour of waiting we decided to call and ask if the delivery guy had gotten lost. After another 20 minutes of waiting the deliver guy called and said he was at different address 15 mins from the correct address. When my friend called to figure out what was going on she was rudely talked to over the phone, denied any type of refund, and was told they didnt have a manager on duty to talk to! It took Nicks an hour and 45 mins to deliver our pizza and they were so rude to my friend on the phone who was completely polite! BAD BUSINESS PLAN to treat a loyal costumer with horrible service!

Ordered for delivery, waited 2 hrs, then wife called. They said our ticket fell behind the counter and would we still like to order...wife said, "No". I called to talk to manager and was told he was not their. I retold the guy how they screwed up and offered nothing in return...no free pizza or discount. So I told him well never go to Nicks again or order from them again....he could care less. Hope Pizza has a much better pizza anyway, but no delivery. Nicks Italian food at the restaurant is all out of the box, can, or jar, and is no good. No reason to ever go their again.

We recently had a party for my sons First Communion at Nicks. We have eaten there for years and the service and food are always top notch. But for the party they really did a great job. The food was exceptional and the service was spot on.
