When you arrive at a restaurant that is quite empty, one table with customers who were already eating and someone at the counter, you do expect great service. So what happened??? After being seated, ordering drinks and placing our food order, about 10 minutes later a couple of ladies came and were seated, explained to look at the special board and seated (we were not told of the specials or even to look at the board). After waiting 30 minutes the two ladies who came in were being served their dinner. So we ask the waitress who replies with something and ends with a sarcastic "so", this was not what we expected and got up to pay for our drinks and leave. The gentleman behind the register seemed flustered and doesnt know what to do, the gentleman at the counter proceeds to say "it happens" and now the food is coming out so we sit back down. I mean really a nearly empty restaurant when we arrive cannot handle 2 hot dogs, a plate of pasta and eggs benedict in a timely fashion, thats just SAD! To also have one of the orders wrong and the hollandaise awful is also something one doesnt expect as well. When you go out to have a meal that you are paying for you do have every expectation of having a pleasant meal from beginning to end. This was not the case here and that is truly sad.

I had a very good breakfast , although i thought my poached eggs on my vegi Benedict seemed rather small ??? And fresh mushrooms since they were on the special menu would have been nicer with the fresh spinach on my beni. Everything was very good including a small stack blueberry pancakes. Service was perfect, servers were busy when i first arrived and the bus boy thought nothing of seating me and bringing me a menu and soda without delay. Very nice, very friendly people all around. I will come back.

From the moment you walk through the door you are welcomed. Theresa, the half owner, is the most kindhearted person (and the most talented cook/baker). Just try to decline dessert from her, you will fail, but not to worry because her cake was the best cake I have ever eaten. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would go there again.

A decent price and a decent selection, the only downside is the staff. While really friendly, they tend to be forgetful or scatterbrained and one lady has a bad habit of rambling constantly. Whenever we go, we talk about how we have to be prepared for the "dinner and a show". If that doesnt bother you, its worth the trip.

We were traveling through on 84 with my parents and two small kids. We stopped here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was friendly with the kids and the food was great. Bonus was the large pour in the glass of red wine, which is just what you need when road tripping with two small kids.

Even with two crazy kids in tow, the staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. The food was a smidge pricey, but not enough to dissuade us from going back again. We stuck with the basics, but the menu had some depth that Id like to try another time.

Saw the owner overcharge customers more than once from the counter, myself included. Food was fine; staff was great and gracious; but owner displayed questionable ethics. If your food is cheaper al a carte, be aware gluten free customers.

Very good!! Went today for mothers day and the owner passed out gifts for all of the moms .. even gave the kids a little something. We all enjoyed it! Food was great. Staff was awesome. No complaints. We will be back again.
