Cherry Street East has entire dinners for under $8.00 including tax and beverage served in under 5 minutes weekdays. The meals are American the service is excellent served with a smile in the local eatery with a fabulous old handmade wooden bar good for the drinks at a reasonable prices. Weekends are crowded expect a two hour wait with no reservations accepted. I had a deliciousness meal there today at 4 pm enjoying it thoroughly. Highly recommended. 5 stars for service 4 stars for drinks 3 1/2 stars for food 5 stars for location 5 stars for price. The restaurant is in its own cosy wooden house located in town near Starbucks :-)

Came to visit family in Connecticut and suggested they take us to their favorite burger joint. The food was great, especially the Onion Rings, Philly Burger, and atmosphere. The only reason theyre getting a 4, as opposed to a 5, is because we were seated next to the swinging doors that go into the kitchen. The staff would bust through the doors and we were constantly interrupted by the door slamming sounds and the loud staff coming in and out as well as talking in the kitchen. Other then that, the service was very Northern, but polite which was great!

We sat down to crumbs all over the seats, and the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink, I said one second please Im cleaning up crumbs and she just laughed. It was a disgusting welcome to the restaurant! Meanwhile there was a hand vacuum on the wall plugged in across from our table...

BEST BURGER in the area! Love the family-friendly atmosphere. We love the appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts. New Canaan is lucky to have a reliable local neighborhood restaurant to visit.

Underwhelming. Their burger is supposedly very famous however I was not overly impressed. It was okay and underseasoned. The staff was nice and the other food tried was good. Just was not overly impressed.

Wife loves this place. She grew up with their english muffin burgers. I like the wings. All in all a good place to pick up a burger and fries.

Great burgers. Friendly staff. Bar is small. Seating is cozy. Very popular spot for lunch and dinner but you dont have to wait long.
