This is *the* Panera bread. I used to frequent here for lunch and coffee breaks at my old work, which was about a ten minute walk away. I would get my boss coffee too so he let me take a little extra time for myself. After a frigid walk, a large hazelnut coffee hit the spot well, alongside a broccoli and cheese soup in the magnificent bread bowl. Once a few co-workers and I got like $30 worth of food for dinner since we were working late before Christmas, and unfortunately a few items were left out/wrong, but the dude there brought over our correct food, even finding the right door where we were and knocking as instructed so we knew it was him. Haha. The scones are delectable, too.

I was in the area, so had the Green Power Smoothie, and a Turkey Avocado BLT. I tried to get the Black Cherry smoothie, but they dont have this anymore, so I got the Wild Berry. It was not bad. Not bad at all. Then the sandwich. (Yes, I know drinking THEN eating is weird. Dont judge me.) The BLT is a BLT. With turkey and avacado. How could anyone mess that up? Good thing they didnt. It was pretty good, so I saved half for my mother & aunt. Oh, and the staff was nice. (I apologize for my mind-numbingly terrible grammar.)

What a wonderful place. It is clean and comfortable and the food is fresh and delicious! The roasted turkey sandwich actually has REAL roasted turkey. Why go to Subway and get a sandwich with processed meats pre-sliced weeks in advance, when you can get real food made fresh to order? The soup is also excellent as are the breakfast sandwiches. And the breads!!! The sour dough loaf was the best I ever had! And the people are also very nice, pleasant and polite.

I have been here a million times and I can say they have never gotten my order wrong which I find pretty remarkable given the crowd that descends on this place between 12-2 during the week. Ive only eaten in a couple times because theres never any seating. I get a little skeeved out eating there because theres no time for the staff to wipe off the tables. Eww. But to the more important things...the food is really good and always fresh and the service is decent.

Not my favorite location. I always have problems with my rapid pick up orders. One time, they didnt have what I ordered in stock, rather than call me I waited for additional 20mins after the estimated pick up window, and no one said anything to me or called me, that I approached the manager and he said hes just going to refund me. Another time, I ordered the bbq chicken salad, when I got to the office (5mins away), most of the lettuce was black and gross.

Great place to meet a colleague or a friend in this somewhat loud, but comfortable modern day fast food. Its one of those places where you know youll love the food and are usually stuff between the choice of something fast food or debating whether to make a full lunch/dinner out of it. Panera in the Carle Place Shpping hits the sweet spot right in the middle. Capable staff, consistent food, busy atmosphere.

Healthy tasty food. You have to order it and then go.to the counter to pick it up. No waiter service. Youll need to search for a table at busy times. Unfortunately counter staff not familiar with the menu and orders can come out wrong. Staff does not clean tables regularly and restaurant needs an upgrade.

I like Panera in general - the soups, salads, pastries, but this location gets VERY busy and it can be difficult to find a seat. I also had an issue with the wrong takeout order once and wish they compensated me more for having to come back than just to owe me my original order.

Service is bad... I requested 2 empty cups because my kids like water with lemon... She gave me attitude. So I told her to charge me instead of this attitude. After she charge me as 2 hot tea.., She didnt apologize or even change the attitude.

Food is good. This Panera has pretty blah staff most times, arent friendly or helpful. Communicating with some is a challenge. Three occasions it took 3 different staff to understand my simple question. Panera used to be much better

Right down the street from my place of employment. This is the better Panera in the area; as its ALWAYS clean-- the choices are decent and the wait (no matter how crowded) seems to be minimalized by a very organized staff.

The service was very fast. It was very clean, and they had people coming around cleaning up your table when you were done so you didnt have to. Everyone who worked there smiled. It was a nice atmosphere.

Great place for all meals. Breakfast has baked goods and egg options, lunch and dinner has soups , salads and sandwiches. All fresh. Great coffee and fresh brewed iced tea options.

Worst Panera Ive ever been to. People working clearly hate their jobs and not only does it show, but it affects your experience. Rude cashiers, wrong orders, and no one cares.

Rapid pickup is the best option for ordering. This place is really nice with lots of seats and tables but the wait to order and pickup is long especially during lunchtime.

The girl at the counter always receives me with a good morning, how are you? Which I like. I give them 4 start just because of their coffee. I find it has a weird taste.
