One of the worst coffee shops that I have ever had the misfortune of wasting my time & money in. The espresso beans are always burnt/over roasted ($2.00 bag of Cafe bustello taste better). The girls that work behind the counter are not only very rude but have no idea how to make drinks the right way. The person behind the counter could not make a cappuccino they gave me a latte instead. The bigger girl also cursed at me and called me a @$$hol& as she walked away after my complaint. I asked that my drink be made again and I got another latte. I asked for the manager and she told me that she was the manager. Unbelivable! If your going to charge $5.00 for a cup of coffee you better know what your doing! All of there "fresh pastries" taste like they came from BJs/Costco a couple of days before. Stay away from this place! The people are rude, the coffee/food is disgusting, and its extremely over priced for the poor cheap quality that they give you. If your craving coffee go anywhere else because at least if you go to Starbucks you get what you pay for. To the owner of this place either dosent care or knows nothing of fine coffee. 2

This is a great local coffee shop and café. It is locally owned, so if youre looking to "shop local", this is the place to go for coffee. They have great coffee, as well as paninis, salads and soup. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as a patio area. The seating areas can get fairly full on the weekends, especially on nice days. The walls are decorated with paintings and photographs from local artists and photographers (most are for sale, by the artist). There is no parking lot, street parking is available. Though, it can be tricky finding a parking spot sometimes. The train station (Metro North) parking lot is across the street and the sign states that a parking permit is not required on Saturday and Sunday, so that area is available for parking (as always, check parking signage to avoid getting a ticket). They have free wifi, and a lot of the tables have an outlet near by.

I have been going to this local gem of a cafe. The uniqueness of this business is very enticing. They support local artists, allow dogs on the outdoor patio (including water) as well as local gatherings. However; more importantly, is the welcoming and warmth of the staff that work at the cafe. They always smile and make you feel comfortable. Every one of them! This is one of the major reasons I continue to frequent the cafe. Of course the food and drink are very good as well. Fresh coffee, bagels, salads, sandwiches and of course their specialty crepes!! The staff will accommodate any special requests to make your visit an experience. I highly recommend trying this local cafe.

It started off okay. I bought a drink and took a seat by the window. Then the owner came up to me and told me, very rudely, that i had to leave. I was in shock, I was a paying customer and she told me I was taking up a table that a more important customer could use. I didnt want to argue so I packed up my stuff and left. As I was leaving I saw that same owner sneeze in someones drink before handing it to the person. This is the worst service I have ever experience, McDonalds has nicer managers. This owner was rude and obnoxious, I will never return to Cafe Atlanique.

I go there 2 to 3 times a week. I have lunch, sometimes diner. I do all my business meetings there when I meet new clients, suppliers and others who want to talk about other stuff. The owner is teriffic, she is always trying to be of service to me. My coffee is perfect. (CAFE A LONGER) or Americano. The staff is young but they try their best to please the customers. I rate this place highly for their ambiance, choice of music, clientel. And so much more. I suggest that you go thete for the experience and the pleasure of good coffee and pastries

We recently moved to Milford, and live near the green, so we wanted to check this place out because it looked so cute. The first time we went there, I was disappointed to find that the staff was a little rude, and the food was very expensive. Well, everyone has a bad day, so we decided to try it yet another time. We sat outside, and my husband went in to order our food. They told him rudely that they werent serving food today. We looked around at everyone elses full plates and just decided to leave. We havent gone back.

I have never had the experience that some of the reviewers here have had. I go there often for coffee, occasional sandwich, an their scrumptious scones and deserts. Weve always had friendly service and the place is usually busy. Comfortable and a great place to meet someone. Out door seating in the warmer months is great (and pet friendly). I love the place.

In January 2010, Cafe Atlantique changed hands. There was much mystery from the staff as to what was to come and the morning manager who had been there for 4 years was not asked to return. As a loyal customer, I am concerned about the change. As of the end of the month, no one answers the phones. It is unclear what the future holds for this beloved Milford spot.

Ive always loved this place. My go-to order is their baby greens salad (balsamic dressing is delicious) and banana chocolate crepes. Yum! Its self service. You order and they give you a coaster that vibrates when your order is ready. The staff is always so friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Such a perfect location. Its a fun place enjoy watching people heading to and from the train station. its delightful. The coffee is excellent. Its an invigorating way to start the day. The cafe has an outdoor patio that welcomes dogs. Downtown has a unique doggy vibe. I love dog people.

Cafe Atlantique is the perfect place to hang out with friends and family! I ordered their nutella and banana crepe with an iced mocha and oh my goodness, both were so good! They had a good selection of different foods and I would totally go back there

Like the atmosphere and the feeling of being in downtown Milford right on that corner. The food is good but the service can be hit or miss. Still one of my favorite places to stop for coffee in downtown Milford!

The atmosphere, live acoustic performances on odd nights, location and interior/exterior design all prove lovely. The downside is their coffees/teas/general food selection just isnt that great.

Great place! Coffee was excellent. Can get pretty crowded so finding a table can be tough sometimes. You MUST try their biscotti! They get them from Scratch Baking down the street. So good!

Awesome location in the heart of Milford, they have great coffee and a nice selection of breakfast items on the menu. Lots of nice indoor and outside seating that is off the street.
