Anyone from Connecticut should know good pizza, and its easy to see that Mondo is the best of the best! I highly recommend the eggplant fries and risotto fritters to start, and then any of their famous pizzas. Mondos great food is matched only by its fun and family friendly atmosphere. Its one of those places that when you walk in, the delicious smell and smiles all around, make you instantly feel welcome and genuinely happy. Im proud to say that I know many of the staff and the owner very well, and they are all friendly to everyone. Its clear to see that everyone, including the smiling employees, are really happy to be there.

Food, excellent. Ambience, funky. Service and organization, atrocious. I went at 7:30 pm. People who came in after me were taken care of ahead of me. I had to stand there and ask to be seated. Service was not attentive, slow. The waiter seemed to spend all of his time on the bar side of the partition. Why he had my table is beyond me. Water.... then beer.... then food.... I had to essentially beg for the check and then beg to pay. I really didnt want to spend any more time there, and, although Middlesex Hospital is an important and frequent client, I wont spend even a second there again.

Great food and atmosphere. The Happy Hour is really hard to beat with $3 drafts and free wings. As for the food, theyve got the best pizza in Middletown. The Mondo Bianco with spinach is unique and always a good treat for the weekend. The lunch specials are a great thing to take in during the work day. Hard to beat $8.50 for a delicious Caesar salad and half a panini with the great atmosphere you get there (certainly beats $9 for a sandwich and fries at Dennys!)

Im a pizza snob. I grew up on New Haven style pizza and I love pizza. But I must admit that these guys make one of the best pies around. You can honestly taste the quality ingredients. I love their breaded eggplant pizza. And the panini are amazing. Absolutely give this place a shot. Its worth the trip.

THEIR CHICKEN CLUB IS THE BEST PANINI YOU WILL EVER EAT. Great food, good service, and theres even a convenient parking lot behind the restaurant so you dont have to pay the meter on Main Street! (Just look for the CVS parking lot)

Ive come here a few times with my friends, they noticed that our waitress rolled her eyes at me as I was sitting down after being seated. Besides that, the staff is great, the pizza is great every time, so are the wings.

The pizza is great but dont get a cesar salad with chicken it is overly priced for what you get. I paid $10.00 for what is a side salad with one slice of chicken. I get double for the same price at illianos.

Kind of noisy. Pleasant wait staff and good service. 6 or so beers on tap. Food not so good. Had the pasta, which was unremarkable. Probably should have had the pizza. There were lots of choices.

Pizza really wasnt all that amazing, and honestly neither of the rest of the food was, and the whole place was a lil bit pricey but the atmosphere was great and the seats were very comfy.

Wonderful upscale classy atmosphere without being stuffy. Food delish! Chicken caesar salad, wings, fried mozzerella, all really good. Waitress and bartenders very friendly and helpful.
