Have gone here multiple times prior to the most recent incident. Loved coming here for when I wanted to be lazy and get a quick bite. But when I put my order in on Super Bowl Sunday, I regretted coming here ever since. This was the worst experience I have had with this place. I understood that they were busy and people kept ordering the spicy chicken the whole time. When I ordered a 16 piece family meal from the spicy chicken side, I was told that it would take 15 minutes, I didnt mind waiting 15 minutes or even 20 minutes at most because I wanted my food to be done right. But to my knowledge the one who took my ordered started doing everyone elses order ahead of mine when the spicy chicken came out, I ended up having to wait 50 minutes to actually get my order. From 6:15 PM when I put it in till 7:07 PM when I got my order. The same person that took my order ended up denying the fact and making excuses that she didnt take my order. I told her to look at the recording if she doesnt believe me (with how she was acting and getting an attitude with me she needed to check it) and this was what annoyed me the most because she started to put the blame on her fellow coworker and not take responsibility for her action herself. I will not e returning to this or any Popeyes. All it takes is 1 person to ruin the experience of another and many others. I highly recommend to go somewhere else and ignore this place, it isnt worth your time and money.

The Popeyes in Hamden, Ct is disgusting. They faithfully give out RAW MEAT and now that I finally was able to get in contact with the manager about it he gave me n my co workers gift certificates for all the problems regarding the Hamden facility. We was so excited until we went to actually use our gift certificates the Popeyes in Hamden, Ct and received RAW MEAT AGAIN, NO FRIES, AND we all got change back with our purchases. But when we got back to work and noticed this all we called Popeyes in Hamden immediately only to get treated like liars and interrogated. We was asked how much we paid after we could not produce the receipt they never gave us. Then we told them the price and the wonderful manager Teniqua with no customer service skills what so ever

I visit popeyes often since I work close by. I have had many times when your employees act like they dont want to be bothered. Ive seen 5 0r 6 people behind the counter and it still takes a long time to get my order, often with no hello goodbye or thankyou. Ive seen them to busy having conversations between themselves. the last straw and the last time I will ever go to popeyes was 2 days ago I was the only customer and stood there being ignored for over 5 minutes while the manager was sitting down eating while witnessing this and did not say a word. I turned around and walked out the door and went to Mcdonalds where I was promply waited on and satisfied with there service. I will never go back to Popeyes. Thanks to your rude employees!!!!!!!

Imagine my surprise when the voice came on the speaker and interrupted my order when I tried to clarify that I wanted the "tender meal" not the "bone chicken "meal. Imagine how irritated I was when she broke in and yelled "I said side!", imagine how confused I was to see that a large lemonade was exactly the same price as a half gallon and imagine how hungry the kids were who cant eat through the bones because they gave me the wrong chicken. Attitude AND incompetence, what a lovely combo meal that was. Imagine if Ill ever go back.....I cant.

Food is hit or miss, sometimes hot and juicy and other times very dry with the wrong order. What frustrates me most, you pay your money to patronize this restaurant and then they tell you that they cant give you a glass of water. If this is the case may need to state that in writing somewhere in so the consumers can make a quality decision.

Awesome fried chicken! Love the mac n.cheese. I dont mind waiting for something hot, and fresh. Then get something fast and cold sitting there under a heat lamp, for who knows how long! Its always fresh when I go and never cold!

I am impressed by the food quality and service. The chicken is well prepared and although order to completed order takes slightly longer than at other fast food restaurants, it is worth it. Service here was friendly and swift.

The staff just needs to move a little faster when busy times arrive (which is almost every time one goes there) and some of them need to be friendlier. They sometimes look like theyre being bothered.
