I go to the wood n tap in rocky hill a lot and have never had a problem until recently. The last 4 times I have gone there the waiter/waitress is rude and seems miserable to be there. After the third time I complained and the managers were extremely nice. I was hesitant to go back and after tonight I dont know if I will go back besides to sit at the bar. Although there were some people there it was a Wednesday night so it was by no means busy. The service was horrible and our waitress was unfriendly and seemed bothered by us being there. We had a coupon for a free appetizer so we ordered a full order of nachos and were definitely not given that. We questioned the waitress and she said that it was a full order (clearly she is unaware of how many times we have ordered both the half and full order of nachos). We also got the bar chicks which we always get and they were 3 times as spicy than usual, I could barely eat them. They also had a problem with the heat/ac one minute we were burning up and the next we were freezing. Not a good way to increase business because we could not wait to leave. On the bright side the 2 hostesses were very nice, too bad they could not have served us!!

Genial parada en el camino. Tomamos unas tapas que ofrecen de oferta por 7$ cada una muy ricas. Unos calamares rebozados frescos y muy buenos y unas espinacas con alcachofas gratinadas riquísimas. Servicio genial, buena calidad y precio adecuado. Vale la pena pararse si pasas por ahí.

The menu has a nice variety of food. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and cozy, but its often very slow. A co-worker & I stopped in a couple weeks ago, but ended up having to get our food to go because we were going to be late for an appointment. The other night my wife & I went for dinner, and it took more than hour. A real neat thing is the "party room." Its a very large room with a couple small tables & a long table that can hold 12-15 people, maybe more Im guessing. Perfect for a Christmas party or other get together.

The food here is awesome. The buffalo sauce is a personal favorite of mine but there is not one appetizer on their menu that doesnt taste amazing. They always have a good crowd because the food is so good but the place never feels overcrowded. Cant find a better place to watch a game in my opinion. Beer selection is great and the service is always fantastic. This is one of my favorite places to go in the Hartford area. Cant recommend it enough.

Great nachos. We ordered a large serving and they were dense (in a good way). Tons of beans, chicken, cheese, toppings, chips, etc. Two or three people could easily split this over drinks. The drink selection was very diverse. Its the middle of March and they already have Summer beers.

Very friendly staff . Got a great beer selection also have plenty of wines. Cocktails are also good (Ive been told) Food is better then the other chain places. Bit on the pricey side but worth it I think. I do find myself coming back to this place quite a bit

Decent food, moderate prices, fast service and a great menu. Worth a trip, better than expected and will go back when ever I am in the area. ALSO: Maple/marshmallow covered sweet potato fries... Thats worth the trip from anywhere.

First time there even though I drive past it every day. I had the Chipotle chick sliders with the habanero side sauce. Very good quality. The only thing I didn’t like was there were more men at the bar then woman.

This is typical bar food. If that is what you are looking for then this place is perfect. They have a full bar. The drinks were fine but nothing spectacular. Id go back but it wouldnt necessarily be my first choice.

The best place in rocky hill Great food, drinks, atmosphere and lest not forget the staff. I drive 45 miles and I never regret it. I recommend this place for couples, family and just a night out with friends.

Flies and knats in our booth. My girlfriends drink was made with moldy mint. Both appetizers arrived cold. I wouldnt return here even if you paid me. Service was lousy ended up speaking with manager.

Twice, they put me on hold to over 7 minutes when I try to make reservations. I dont understand why they have to get the manager every time a patron makes a reservation. Very unpleasant experience.

Excellent bison burger. Strong, deep peppery taste, which I like. The staff were attentive and good natured. The beer choices were primarily ales, so while Im giving 5 stars, 4.5 is more accurate.

Heck...they have "FAT TIRE"...need I say more?! Actually the burgers were pretty good, the clam chowder good...nothing spectacular, but very good. Not a bad stop for a bite to eat and a beer.

I wanted broccoli cooked longer so the stems were soft. the 2nd time , not much softer..the penne,chicken snd broccoli dish was not very good. the salmon was great.
