Went for my free pizza for my B-day. Wasnt as busy as usual. Only had to wait about 10min for a seat in the bar area. This is the first time in about 3 yrs that the food was good. Ordered the Chicago 7 deep dish pizza. Plenty of toppings and was hot. The reason for the low review is because of the Cinco de Mayo beer tour and the service. First the beer tour, which this chain is famous for their beer tours. They only had 3 Mexican beers on the tour. The rest were from in-state craft breweries which dont make mexican beer and even had a sour beer on the tour. I love most beer, and appreciate all beer. But just because you name a beer with a Spanish name, doesnt mean it should be on your tour. Its obvious that the person in charge in making the mini tours is not a beer drinker. We normally get awesome service, but tonight the long haired male server who spent more time hanging out at the juke box playing extremly bad rap music and chatting with fellow employees rather than serving his tables. We had to call him over twice to get service. Even when leaving I overheard other customers complaining about the selection of music. Its not the restaurants fault that the parent company makes bad food recipes with sub-par quality food, but when the service is bad that is a direct reflection on the management.

Worst place ever! Apparently they thought it was a club and were blasting music the whole time. We had to yell at our table to have a conversation. We asked pur server multiple times to turn it down but were sure she just turned it back up two more notches second later. After she didnt hear my request for a refill, because of the loud music, I had to yell it and again requested her to turn the music down. And she rudely responded that she already did twice. Obviously not because she couldnt hear me. Oh yeah, there was also some really drunk guy running around yelling and being obnoxious and the staff must have known him because I saw a lot of them handing him food directly from the kitchen. And there were cops all around the parking lot. Definitely NOT a family restaurant.

Never had a problem in the past. I always order the same thing. Came in didnt look at the menu (my mistake) ordered the usual (fish and chips). My waitress brought it out without tarter sauce and then avoided us for about 15 minutes. Finally once we flagged her down and asked for tarter sauce she told us they didnt have it because fish and chips were no longer on the menu. If she had actually mentioned that then I would have just ordered something else but the way she handled the whole situation was not professional. She did ask me if Id like something else, but she seemed very bothered about it. She brought our bill and charged $11.99. We looked up the old menu and the price was listed at $10.49. I paid for it and left very dissatisfied. :(

This chain as has been bought and sold 2 or 3 times over the past 5 years, but this last change in ownership has definitely put my taste buds into revolution. The menu has haphazardly changed too many times to count over the last two years, and tonight we thought wed give it another try and purchased their "sampler platter" (what it used to be called, and used to be delicious), and for $21.00 there were 11 teeny wings, a good portion of fresh veggies, 3 slices of garlic bread with a portion of artichoke dip, 3 chicken strips, and THIRTY PIZZA DOUGH BALLS with a half-cup of so-so cheese dip. It was almost laughable - the dough balls took over half the platter. This will be my last visit to OC for food.

This had absolutely nothing to do with the server! First problem started with the appetizer and didnt get any better. We ordered a simple cheese bread and it was cold nothing was melted. Onto the meal, my boyfriend ordered pizza and half of it had no cheese and the half that had cheese was once again not melted. As for my meal, I should have ordered a lump of coal because thats what I tasted instead of a grilled chicken sandwich. Didnt want to take it out on the server so I immediately requested the Manager. He came over and tried to make excuses but in the end paid for the food. Tipped the server really good and headed out.

Very kind and helpful service, but not much they can do about disgusting food coming out of the kitchen. Our daughters side of carrots and celery came as a pile of carrot chips... with what was obviously a bite of chewed up and spit out food in it (looked like dough?). Revolting. Should have taken a picture, but hurried it off the table. Again, our server was very kind, but the manager didnt seem to take it all that seriously. Its a chain restaurant - we didnt expect spectacular food - but we definitely didnt expect a chewed up bite of food from a previous customer.

I called today at 6 pm to place an order to be picked up at 8 pm, two pizzas and two entrees. I know Friday nights can be busy so wanted to give them plenty of time to work my order in. Was informed by the female who was taking my order that they put them in right away. I asked so you wont take my order and you are telling me I have to call back closer to 8 pm? All other pizza restaurants have figured out how to handle orders like this...Deciding now where else to order from. About $80 in business going elsewhere tonight Old Chicago.

The food is overpriced and disappointing. I had an individual tavern style pizza that was $10.50. I would compare it to a .99 microwave pizza. My husband ordered a california chicken sandwich which he said was ok but he said he would rather have a sante fe chicken sandwich from Carls Jr. His fries were cold. My son had a calzone that he said was ok but agreed he would rather have a caroli from Romas for half the price!! I spent $50 and it was the biggest waste of money! The only positive about the experience was the service.

Hostess was very apathetic. I asked about patio seating and was told "well, wed have to find you a server". No kidding Id need a server. Pretty sure you will have to serve me no matter where I sit. Waited 15 minutes in the crowded breeze-way for a table only to find out the dining room is less than half full! I understand people dont like to wait for service after being seated... But Id rather be seated with a drink than standing waiting for a table. Horrible practice.

Dont call food x,y,z style if it isnt. The pizza is like pizza hut pizza, period. Were the people nice? Yes. Was it busy? Yes. But Chicago style pizza it isnt! Do you think people havent been to Chicago so you can hoodwink them? This pie is as lame as it gets: barely any cheese, what cheese there is 85% burnt and again...this isnt ChiPie! If you want tatas and beer, by all means drop by. If you just want a slice of great pie, drive on down to Denver and keep looking.
