Dec 15, 2010 Let me just say this is not the first time we have been to this restaurant, but by bar far the worst! We get a table rather quickly and that is where it all goes downhill. Our waiter was the worst I have seen in a long time. It took him almost 10 mins to get our water then another 10 to get our order. I asked for hot tea samples, was told he would bring them to show me, never did. We ordered an appetizer; got it when my husband got his order (which was served by the hostess) mine was MIA. Must have been found, I got it a few minutes later by yet another server. When we had our food our waiter was nice enough to ask if everything tasted good, then disappeared again. We were finished with our meal about 15 mins, no waiter, finally asked a passing server if we could have our check. Five mins later we see our waiter again to quickly hand us the check and scurry away. Didn’t ask if we would like more water, didnt ask if we would like dessert, didnt even clear plates away thou they were right in front of him. A bit later we snagged him when he was walking by and gave him our payment. When he returned, he didnt say anything just dropped it off a left never to be seen again. We were at the point of not giving him a tip other than to say "try harder next time". We go out frequently and we know at lunch time people can be in a rush, but this guy was just clueless to what he was doing. Or he just didnt care! I say in the hour and 15 mins we were there we may have seen him for 5 mins! Ridiculous! To the restaurant I will give that the food was good. Service BAD

We really like the food here and the margharitas but our service today was the worst we have ever had. Our server was Annie and I do not know if she was having a bad day or upset about having to work when it was snowing... but I have never wanted to complain about service I have had until today. When we sat down, she threw the silverware down, came back once to see how we were doing, never asked if we wanted more chips, did not ask if we wanted any drinks, and dropped our check. She did not look happy at all to be there and if that was the case it absolutely showed. We will be back again cause we like the food but hopefully we will have a different server the next time.

Green Chile is very good - you can mix the hot and mild if you want to tone down the heat of the hot. The prices are right. Youll be taking some home if you get a combination plate - lots of food. Everything Ive had there is fresh. Margaritas are good, although Id suggest spending a little money to get one of the top shelf and not just the house. Skinny margarita is good as well. The service in the dining area has been outstanding at times, and at times sub-par when they seemed to be understaffed. Service at the bar is always outstanding (Lindsey). FYI - if you need a break from the Chile, they have a decent burger as well.

Tried to place an order at the bar and Jamie answered the phone and was very rude and made me feel like I was putting her out by trying to place a to go order. Very upsetting because we eat there a lot and I am always referring people. I dont care how busy you are you should never treat a customer the way I was treated! This isnt the 1st time this has has happened while ordering out! Maybe you should have someone else besides the bar take to go orders or train your bar girl to do act like she cares!

It felt like walked through the door and jumped back into the 80s... Not the good 80s either, the stinky, stale beer and wood paneling 80s. But the time our waitress finished her drink to come take our order, we were ready to leave. We asked about drink specials or local beers on tap and were told "I need to go ask, most people just order Coors or Sam Adams".. Needless to say, we didnt stick around to see what the specials were.

Totally in edible.. Take out to go... had to go back 2 times to get the full order, The guacamole was so salty we all gagged. Could have taken a shot from a salt shaker and it would have tasted better. I have ALWAYS supported Brewery Bar until this. The manager refused to talk to me. Dont know or care what they have going on but there food sucks all of a sudden and the company could care less.

Your "manager on duty" should be ashamed of the way she treats customers and the servers need a lesson in customer service. Blatantly talking about the customer that just complained to you and laughing about them with the server is NOT how you treat people. Weve been coming here at least once a month for years and this was the worst service and food Ive ever received.

This used to be one of my favorite mexican restaurants in the area, but after the continued price increases, it is not worth the trip. 3 Cheese Enchiladas, Rice, Beans and Drink should never be $18 before tip. I will not be returning and will tell all that I can to go to the cheaper (and equally as good) mexican restaurants a block in either direction.

Awesome green chili, chunks of meat and enough heat to clear the sinuses (hot and mild avail)... Pretty good happy hour m-f 4 to 6pm... Enjoyed the maths as well. Chile relleno was very good and the wife loved the huevos rancheros. Portions arent giant, but not small by any means. Friendly service and easy atmosphere, will be back again.

They are very accomedating to my partners allergy needs. She is Gluten, Dairy, and Soy Free among other allergens. We have eaten here several times, more than 20 for sure. She has never been contaminated. They are very good about cooking on clean safe surfaces to accommodate allergies. No cross contamination thus far.

The margaritas are very good and not nearly as sweet as most restaurant ritas are. Chips and salsa are good. The chile verde is great and I basically see most of the menu items as delivery vehicles for the chile verde. Stick w/ the burritos, chimichangas, and chile rellenos, and youll enjoy your experience.

Service was quick and the good people there were really nice. Unfortunate, the food was not good. Chips were rounds straight outta the bag. I got the steak burrito with award winning green sauce. Very runny and not much freshness. I wish it was a lot better. Nothing against the staff, they were great!

The food here is great. They are especially known for there great Chile Rellenos. The green Chili is great too and runs on the hot side. They have grown from a single family restaurant to this because of their food. And the quality from one location to the other is maintained well.

Not sure what the buzz is about Brewery Bar, but the 3 times Ive been, the food was marginal at best & the service matched it. There are SO MANY places in Denver to get decent or better Mexican food, so why waste your money on something so marginal as Brewery Bar?
