We were on vacation and my husbands friend recommended this place. He said they have this stuffed sopapilla that you need to try. We actually got to the town earlier than the restaurant opened but since this friend went on and on about this place we explored more of the town and waited till it opened. HIs friend wasnt wrong, that sopapilla was delicious and we ordered half an order of supreme nachos and still had food to take home. If you go to Leadville you have to check this place out. Its off the beaten path but well worth it. Our waiter was awesome.

Ordered vegetarian Chile rellenos but when they arrived there was chicken/pork mixed in with the sauce which caused me to be ill. No apologies from the staff for this and I had to beg to get them to remove the charge from our bill. They also had no way to split our bill and made us do the math on the back of the receipt explaining what amount to charge on each credit card and then told us we owed another $50. Overall a very unpleasant experience, one star awarded for decent margaritas.

I LOVE this place! Classic dive with great food. Robertos Especial Stuffed Sopapilla (think burrito) is amazing with lots of green chilies. While spending summers in the mountains, I made my family every year take me here for Fathers Day. Dont expect great ambiance, but DO expect great food and margaritas. This place is not on Leadvilles main street. It is in a neighborhood. This is one of my favorite places in Colorado to eat and I have lived in CO for 20 years.

Good Mexican restaurant, great value and atmosphere. Well-made food, generous portions, a great value. Patio and inside have expansive views if Mountains. Friendly and attentive staff. This place is busy with locals and the outdoor sports tourists. Everyone seems to know each Other. Food, service, atmosphere all add up to a great dining experience!

Its nothing fancy but the staff was very friendly and the stuffed sopapillas were amazing! It did take a bit of time after I ordered to get my meal, so if you are in a big hurry you might get impatient, but in my opinion it was well worth the wait.

The food is very good--especially the stuffed sopapillas, the green chile, and the flautas. The staff is always great, and they even look like theyre having fun while theyre working. The margaritas are the best Ive ever had--and strong!

Decent food... But not tons of flavor like we are used to in our Mexican food back home I guess. Good quality food though. Mom said her beef taco was good... Service was friendly, but not speedy. Solid 3 stars overall.

My wife and I stopped there on our way back from Cottonwood Pass to Dillon and had a great meal. Will return there again if we are over in the area again. Great place to eat.
