What makes an exceptional coffee shop? This is where you might go to learn the difference between the many many good - and even great - coffee shops in Denver and the stand-out few exceptional. The baristas are incredibly personable and just downright good humans. They are quick and yet take time to address each customer individually. Quince has Kaldis coffee available - and a number of different drink choices depending on your preference. The baked goods and empanadas served are local. Quince is incredibly supportive of local companies and artists. The atmosphere is perfect. 3 rooms available to choose from, games and obscure books to use and peruse, rotating artwork on the walls and ...my favorite - the tables are able to be decorated with chalk markers that are on the table. LOVE IT. Last night was open mic night (I believe this is the first Saturday of the month). I thought it would be difficult to make work because while they have a lot of space, the space is split into 3 rooms, but they made a cozy little set in the front room that created a perfect atmosphere for optimal enjoy of the music and poetry from some talented souls. The owner was present and active in introducing the artists and came over to the table my friends and i were sitting at to introduce herself and get our names. Its the little things in life... and its really the little things about this little shop that quickly made it my favorite go-to in Denver. Definitly check it out.

What a find! Quince Essential is a comfy coffee house (literally, its a converted home) with free WiFi and super friendly co-owner Babette. Already hyper-caffeinated so went with a tasty iced marmalade mojito tea. Will definitely be back! Addendum: I have been back numerous times for Quinces great espresso drinks and French press (couple of bean options including neighbor badass roasters at Jubilee!) and to take advantage of the chill vibe. Thanks to these wonderfully helpful baristas I get way more work done than back in my cubicle prison!

I share similar thoughts as other reviewers. Cute and quaint coffee shop with a wonderful atmosphere. The barista recommended the hazelnut latte as they make all of their own syrups - it did not disappoint! I think I will try the chai next time as that is also made in-house. Only tip is to maybe vet the music as there was one song playing that used a curse word (several times) starting with the letter f... may not be appropriate.. especially if there are little ones present.

A great lil hole in the wall I will definitely be going to regularly. Food and coffee aside, although both things were excellent, the place its self is super cute and quaint. Its the kind of place you could kill a couple hours at with or without others and enjoy yourself the whole time. The staff is very friendly and all seem like great people. I recommend it to anyone who doesnt suck, because i dont want sucky people to ruin it with their suckieness. Cool people only.

Staff is super friendly in this neighborhood house converted to a coffee shop. The parking situation is a little annoying as it is street parking on a narrow two way street. The large latte was enormous and very good. Loved the giant cup they served it in. I got an empanada for breakfast that was not super. It took 10 minutes but was still doughy and a little cold inside. I would recommend for the coffee and the baked good looked fabulous but i didnt try them.

I love the concept of a coffee shop dwelling in a quaint house. Ive been meaning to stop by this place for a while now, especially since its on the way to work. They have three (soy, almond, & coconut) alternative milk options, multiple vegan pastry options from Make Believe, and some Outrageous Baking breads that are GF and DF. Super cute, friendly staff, and quick coffee. I just wish I had been able to sit for a while.

I have been coming to Quince Essential frequently since its opening in June. It is a welcome addition to our neighborhood which is something of a food desert. The atmosphere is cozy and creative. One owner, Michelle, is also an art teacher. The place is full of her touch. There is a wide variety of drinks which you can sample. They have begun serving a limited food menu including panninis. A welcome break during your day.

Having lived in small towns with local coffee shops owned by friendly people who remembered your name and loved to converse, it has been so difficult to find a coffee shop where I feel at home in Denver. And then I found Quince Essential Coffee and fell in love. So cozy, cute, and owned by fantastic people who have created a wonderful atmosphere. I want to come back every day! Quince Essential Coffee is the best!

This place is super cute and the coffee is pretty good. Honestly, the establishment itself make me want to go back. If I lived in Denver, this would be my go to coffee place on the weekends to study/ do work, anything. The empanadas were okay.. but Im from LA so I have pretty high expectations for that... come for the coffee and ambiance and you wont be let down.

Best community gathering, coffee shop in Denver. Wrap around front porch, offers shade from the elements outside, and the back yard has a dog run for your 4 legged family members. Staff and service are as sweet as the syrup they make. Lots of home made recipes, pastries are made fresh locally. Stop by and see, youll be sure to agree. Home away from Home

The owners have created a magical place - a place where you feel at home. The vegan burrito is delicious and their selection of teas is exquisite. But what appeals to your heart before your stomach is how they make you feel when you walk-in. Michelle makes you feel like an old friend; like family. Thank you for creating such a mindful and human place!

Great little stop where you wouldnt expect it. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly on the deck and in the yard. Beautiful old early 1900s home converted to a cafe so its got the hipster colorado flair that you only find out here. Plenty of couches and tables. Purchased a medium 2 shot latte in a ceramic. Excellent Kaladi roast, and perfect micro foam!
