Found this little gem on yelp and decided to give it a shot based on the good reviews. I had the Corrado drink - which was an 8 ounce drink more espresso less milk/ froth and it was good. My girlfriend and I both had the bacon Gouda panini sandwich to eat. It was a great value that included a fig bar, banana, or coconut oil cooked chips from Boulder! The sandwich could have used a bit more egg and the bacon was soggy ( I like mine crispy). Otherwise helpful staff and they have a patio in old town Arvada. From what I overheard the staff volunteer and proceeds go to war - broken countries. They also sell goods there from other countries and proceeds go back to the workers/artists to help them provide for their families in poverty. 5 stars for the cause!

Global Goods is a win-win-win-win - great food and drink, amazing friendly volunteer staff, wonderful ambiance (in no small part due to all those good-hearted folks), and best of all, the proceeds directly support humanitarian aid projects. What could be better? Being based in Olde Town Arvada, since Global Goods has opened, GG is now my informal office - I go when I need to work in a different space, having a one-on-one or group meetings. You can reserve their downstairs conference room for smaller meetings, or their larger room upstairs for bigger events for very reasonable rates. If you need a break, need to get on another wavelength, need a little caffeine, delicious pastries, or other tasty treat, go to Global Goods!

Better than your average coffee house, the Americano was delicious. The barista was a volunteer, in fact they are all volunteers. The shop supports Global Refuge projects around the world, providing an emergency lifeline to victims of war, infectious disease, and disaster. Its local involvement with a global impact The staff was knowledgeable about the coffee they served, the mission of the shop as well as provided smiley customer service. The fair-traded artisan handicrafts sold are from countries where Global Refuge International is working, like Asia and Africa (specifically Burma and Uganda). This place serves it up right and its for a great cause. Pop in for a visit. Youll be glad you did.

Awesome experience. I was just there with my puppy today, and the outdoor seating is really nice - its easy to find a spot in the shade. The chai was DELICIOUS, and their fresh-baked-from-scratch strawberry rhubarb pie was the best slice of pie Ive had since I moved here from the south. They gave me a bowl for water for the pup, and we stayed about an hour. Everything was clean, food was delicious, and everyone I spoke to was friendly. I would recommend them to anyone, and I know well be back to try their coffee.

The homemade peach pie was amazing, and decent coffee, too. However, disappointed that not more is made there. The breakfast burritos they had shipped in were disgusting - wet and slimy eggs on the inside, plastic tortillas on the outside. Orange juice was poured from a Tropicana bottle. Fortunately, the nice people working the registers replaced the burritos with more of the highlight - pie! Cozy atmosphere.

I had an iced latte and it was delicious! They are doing good in the world while providing a great, laid back coffee house experience in a historic house. They also have food and baked goods if you are hungry, and there are spots to set up a laptop and get some work done. Also, they have a nice porch and front yard with tables available if you want to sit outside. This is a great place all around.

My favorite new coffee shop and top 3 Denver metro overall. Very comfortable environment, cool people, excellent drinks, and a fantastic non-profit mission. The baristas are volunteering for the non-profit and the passion and care comes through in the drinks they make. Also pretty good hours overall except I wish they were open on Sundays.

Fantastic coffee and espresso, rich, full bodied with great smooth flavor. Homemade pastries every day, with more interesting variety than most shops: quiche, brie and raspberry turnovers, various scones and muffins. Always something new and yummy. Great staff, all volunteers helping the Global Goods cause.

What a great place to sit and have coffee and work on the computer. All of your purchases go towards helping refugees in different African countries. There are even Goods to purchase as gifts that are made from ones in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The staff are all volunteers. Impressed!!

FINALLY a good coffee shop in Old Town. We usually have to drive down to Black Eye or Bardo if we want a good cup. These guys are on par with those places in my opinion. Top 5 in the city. Also- I love the location (the house with the courtyard is really cool) and what they stand for.

This place is like a second home or living room. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious brew and espresso drinks, and lots of homemade baked goods and sandwich options. I love what the organization stands for and that a simple cup of coffee can make a big difference.

A visit to Olde Town Arvada is incomplete without a visit to Global Goods. Great coffee—try the Honey Lavender Latte!—and smiling volunteer staff are always in abundance. Profits are donated to the Global Refuge, so youll be doing social good, too!

A nicely restored historic building with a decent coffee shop. Extra seating upstairs is a nice place to read or chat with friends. The coffee is not exceptional but a definite step up from the big chains.

Good to great coffee. Pretty awesome food. Staff is all volunteer so sometimes service is not the best, but the money you spend on your coffee is going to a good place.

Its an awesome non profit. If you throw away food and someone says something about poor starving children in undeveloped countries. Just tell them you bought it here.

Great atmosphere, great mission. But volunteer staff = slow service. E.g. one hour to coffee can happen to you if you go at the wrong time.

A coffee shop that doesnt try to imitate the feel of Starbucks! I love their lavender lattes. Unique gift shopping as well.
