This was my first time to a Pita Pit and it was an overall good experience. We were looking for something to eat and we were in the mood for a good Pita. This particular location is located in a small little shopping area with other restaurants and stores around it. Most of them were closed since it was a little later in the evening. When we got to the restaurant, we thought it was closed because of the big closed sign on the door, but that was the Grubhub sign. So that was a little confusing. While we were eating, we saw other potential patrons turn away because they thought the restaurant was closed as well. Ordering is similar to Subway, where you choose your ingredients. The two staff waiting on us were friendly and fast. We had our Pitas in no time. The pitas are light and tasty, and a great alternative to greasy fast food. Too bad there arent many of these in Houston.

The Pita Pit is like a healthier version of what a subway could be if it cooked its own meet and used pita( flat-bread). with the choice of several meats or even vegetarian meals you may be able to eat all sorts of fillings even things such as sprouts of tzatziki sauce. because it does have a hint of Greek influence. I go here so often the people know my face... if they had one closer to me it would be all i at!!! it seriously grows on you because it is sooo good and ridiculously healthy unless your my friend whom decided alot of meat and cheese was all she wanted. I RECOMMEND IT FOR EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE. but thats just me and it usually for a medium drink and a meat pita costs no more than six bucks and trust me its plenty of food

Feeling like Subway or a sandwich, but would prefer it involved hummus or tzatziki sauce? Well, Pita Pit is your answer. Its basically the subway of pita. Which is in of itself not a bad thing. Just dont expect too much, and as a plus it may have a claim to being slightly more healthy than Subway. The biggest downside Ive encountered here is that there is often only one person working at any given time. That means if you go with more than one other friend, you may find yourself waiting as long as you would have across the street at Taste of Jerusalem. Sure, youve saved a bit of money there, but that being said I see no reason to recommend this over Taste of Jerusalem.

This is my first time visit as me n my kids wanna try new food. The food is..well..same like Subway but with Pita. I could get better pricing with Subway cuz of the coupons. Anyway.. What I dont get it is that why the customer service are just so bad?? Why cant they smile n be welcoming?? Is it soooo hard? They dont suggest anything nothing! I have no idea whats good n what..so i just stick to my "subway" menu. Sighhhhh.please improve on that! I think once is enough for me.

My boyfriend calls for delivery. He asks if they have dolmades, guy says no. I say oh, maybe they call them grape leaves? or stuffed grape leaves? so my boyfriend asks do you carry stuffed grape leaves? and the guy RAISES HIS VOICE and says SIR, we only serve LETTUCE O.o ???????? The conversation was completely sane up until that point. What happened? He was all pissy over the phone after that. We just asked a question? :(

Staff seemed either distracted or unenthusiastic when I came in. It took several minutes for them to take my order even though there was only one other customer. Things picked up once the owner came in and started helping. Maybe I just walked in at a bad moment for the staff.

Tried Pita Pit for the first time today. WONDERFUL. The food was fresh and very tasteful! Very reasonably priced. I enjoyed that they dont just throw the meat in the microwave to heat it up (eh-hem like another "eat fresh" chain does) Will def return

Pita Pit is always great. Had a large catering order today. They outdid themselves the food was hot and delicious. the gentlemen who set it up were excellent . Phil always sends more then enough delicious food. This is definitely my go to place.

I love the food, but I cant even place an order for delivery because they turn off their phones when they get too busy! Not very professional at all!!! And the last time I ordered online, I didnt get my food until two hours later!! Ridiculous!!!

Very good food, friendly staff, abundant fresh food options, and an exceptional value, especially when put against such establishments as Subway, and Jersey Mikes, which are good also. Pita Pit is a cut above them though.

The food is always fresh, (the southwest sauce is freaking amazing!), the people are always really nice, and its a fun, clean restaurant! I highly recommend it. ....and its healthy!!
