I think I may have come to late in the day because I dont understand the raving reviews of this place. I came in because I was looking for a lil coffee shop near my place where I could work on my laptop as I was Starbucksd out. This place looked absolutely adorable, so I was excited to see what the fuss was about. I came in around 2pm and there was one person in the shop. The staff was very sweet and courteous, so no complaints there. The offerings in the display case were pretty scarce and mostly seemed to consist of cookies, which I am not a big cookie person, and a few other nondescript baked goods that just did not look palatable to me. I "lucked out" and got the last bfast sandwich that they needed to heat up (so I have a funny feeling it had been sitting behind the glass for a hot min). They were out of espresso, so I settled for their drip. The coffee was OK, but nothing mindblowing and they give you free refills (as they should as the mugs they serve the coffee in are on the 8-10oz side). The sandwich, however, was lacking for me. With it being reheated it was kind of on the stale/bland side. The bacon and egg that came on it had a sort of weird taste as well. For the price, the product was definitely not on par. And, to add insult to injury, you can only access there wifi for 1hr sessions at a time. So, I guess if you come in early and they have a little more variety that is on the fresher side of the day and are not here to have a bite and a cuppa joe while working on your laptop, then this place might be for you. I, on the other hand, have no reason to return. I so wanted to like this adorably decorated bakery, but it just didnt have the substance to accompany the cuteness that I was looking for.

This is a rare gem. First, the brownie - wow. That thing, let me tell you... run, dont walk, to get one. It was simply the best brownie Ive ever had, complete with home-made icing. Insanely delicious. But despite how awesome that was, their iced coffee is what I cant stop thinking about. Im a coffee nut, especially the iced variety, and Ive had brews from dozens of spots around the Austin area. This is easily my favorite. Im not sure where they source their beans, or their particular process in making it, but its flat-out addicting. Im glad I dont live closer to their shop because Id go broke buying this iced coffee daily. Overall, an excellent little spot in a nondescript strip center. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Went here after searching what bakeries are in Austin and up North, was excited for this place it had great potential. The decor is very cute. The set up is a little strange half of the kitchen is exposed and there were children running around that I felt was a little unsanitary. The children were of a customer who wasnt telling them to behave, but there is nothing stopping them from going to the kitchen prep area. I ordered a variety of items and was disappointed. The prices are a little high, but I suppose they have to make a profit some how. The cookie was really dry and crunchy, I like my soft, so if thats your thing you may like it then. The cake slice I got was really dry and the icing wasnt very well flavored.

I discovered this hidden treasure just as I was moving further south into Austin. Everything I tried was delicious. The popover is very, very good. They give you the option of savory butter (which has some flavorful herbs) or their honey butter. I got both, and they were great. Everything is made in house, including the butter. The honey butter also went well on their coffee cake, which is delicious on its own. The coffee was very good as well. The staff members were very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had about their items. Id be willing to drive 30 minutes to have their treats again!

I have such mixed emotions about this place. I love the location. We live in the neighborhood and dont have anything like this close by, so its a welcome addition for sure. My 2 year old and I go to the Thinkery often and im so happy to have a place to take him for a little treat afterwards now and then. I want to love this place! However.... The prices are outrageous. $7 for a small brioche!? I mean, thats actually crazy. But I will say, everything weve tried to far has been very very good, but we still prefer Quacks and their prices are better. Will I be back? Sure! But we wont be regulars.

Great pastries & baked goods, great coffee, very cute & well-thought out decor. So far Ive only had cinnamon roll & it was awesome! Im pretty picky when it comes to cinnamon rolls. They use what seemed to be a cream icing. I saw it & knew I had to bring my wife here! She of course loved it too. The staff was very friendly as well. Ive already been twice, & it will be on my regular stops for coffee & snacks from now on.

The place is cool and right next to one of our favorite parks in austin. After going for a walk/jog, there is nothing like eating a freakin huge cinnamon roll. Staff was very friendly and prices were good (if you go during happy hour). I will say the desserts were not mouth wateringly delicious, but they were edible. Recommend if you looking for a quick place to grab a snack or if you have kids.

My daughters 1st birthday cake was fantastic! Forget everything you knew about carrot cake... This bakery is carrot cake heaven. The staff is so helpful, talented, and creative. Although we did not get the exact cake design that we asked for, I am more than glad the bakery added their own creative spin which turned out ten times better than my vision. Will be coming back for more.

You couldnt bribe me to return to Bribery Bakery. I stopped there with a buddy for a cup of coffee and something sweet. We both ordered coffee and I opted for some kind of chocolate strawberry bread pudding muffiny thing. I was shocked at the very poor selection of bakery items. This is a bakery?? The bread pudding muffin was just ok and the coffee was not even warm. No thanks!.

Today I tried out the sandwich of the day (turkey, bacon, mozzarella, marinated tomatoes!), the veggie-goat cheese quiche, and the lemon blueberry pie. Split it all with my co-worker, who remarked "Thats the best thing Ive eaten in a month!" She was right. And lunch was about $7 for each of us. I was a little sad they were out of donuts. Guess Ill have to go back.

Blows ALL the other bakeries out of the damn park! It really doesnt matter what you get here, youll wonder why you even go to other bakeries. Let me also add their cappuccinos are some of the best my husband and I have ever had. Skip the orange juice, its not fresh squeezed. Get the gruyère pop over though!

Today was my first visit and I will definitely be coming back!! I am originally from Washington State...the coffee state--well here my options are VERY limited. The mocha I had here was smooth, the espresso wasnt acidic -I just wanted to melt in it! The carrot cake, moist, not too sweet-delicious!
