Overall, good quick place to grab food. People are complaining about prices, but considering everything its really not bad at all. $11 gets you a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink - all good portions. Ive paid almost twice that for similar meals at or near other parks. The only thing that is pricey is the coffee / breakfast area. Their iced coffee is the equivalent of a small/medium at Starbucks and cost $6, which is way too high. Pastries are on the pricey side too, so Id suggest going to the cooked food section and getting your moneys worth. There is alcohol if youre into that. Expect $4-7 for a glass bottle or large can depending on what you want. Some staff seem to be less than enthusiastic, but I would be too being stuck behind a grill in a beautiful park getting slammed with orders. They handled it well considering.

Large food hall full of tourists and low quality food. One of the main places to eat in the area. Unfortunately the quality of food is too low. Somewhere like this should have loads of healthy salads and sandwiches. We self-served for coffee because annoyingly mid afternoon the coffee section was closing. Overall, management must improve. Visitors (including lots of children) deserve something better to power their days adventures.

Really horrible. Unless you get fresh eggs, you have a problem. The bulk scrambled are luke warm and bland. The turkey/chicken sausage was cold and tasteless. The breakfast sandwich is made with scrambled eggs and the English muffin was really over-buttered. The country fries were over-cooked and mushy. The final insult was the cost, exorbitant for really bad food. This is an embarrassment in an extraordinary national park.

Last resort dining if you dont want to go to the fine dining establishments and youre stuck in the park. Food is overpriced (although probably expensive to truck into the area so maybe its appropriate), and quality is poor. But its there and convenient, although the lines can get really, really long. They dont care much about customer service there or employee training.

Some employees dont seem to want to be there, walked up to the front to order, the guy said, "sorry, we dont have utensils to serve you." Wife and i looked at each other like he spoke a foreign language so we walked away. It wasnt closed or anything like that. It was the shop furthest left, to the left of the burger spot.

Just about the only place to stock up on food and provisions around here, so not surprisingly its quite expensive. That said, if you passing through the valley, its a good place to stop and make yourself a picnic for the meadows

Nice place to grab a lunch but the memories of this place back in the 1970s are more important than the food. Especially when the cabins were around. Yosemite NP is a true gem... And the rangers are always nice and helpful.

The food court was decent, but could certainly be improved. The food was overpriced -which was expected- but if Im going to pay twice what normal spaghetti costs... maybe plain tomato sauce could be spiced up or something?

Chicken teriyaki bowl was very salty and the egg rolls were burned. Asparagus was tough and overcooked. Hubby had the hamburger and it was okay. Weve had burgers here in the past and quality has gone downhill.

Lines can be long here during peak times. They have some vegetarian items but not a lot. Fruits are expensive - $1 for one banana. But overall, a decent place to eat without going to the overpriced fine dining.

As far as the cost of food take into consideration the cost of the lease. More often then not this is the biggest fixed cost of a restaurant. I have to guess the NPS gets a hefty fee from the restaurants.

Theyve got a captive customer base and not a ton of competition, so you get what you expect, but a cold ass gatorade after hiking upper yosemite falls is like baby jesus being serenaded by Prince in heaven.

The finest meal you can get here is the "dirtbag sandwich" - 1 packet saltines, $0 - 2 tabs butter, $0 - 1 ketchup/mustard packet Combine as many as you can for free, high-calorie eating. Bon apetite!
