This burger place used to be awesome, but recently, the quality of the food has gone down. The past 3 out of 4 times Ive gone, the bread has been rock hard, as if toasted before the meat and allowed to harden, and the meat has been hard as well, clearly way over-cooked. It leads to a less than satisfying burger. Every time, it was the Pretzel Burger. Im not sure whats happened or change, but it has been a rapid change from great burgers to very mediocre ones. I will give this place a break, as it simply is no longer the quality burger it was when it opened. Whoever the owner is needs to look into it, as whoever/whatever is roasting the bread is giving out rock hard bread and whoever is now cooking the meat, is going overboard on them being well done. When you get the same crappy burger, three out of four times, from May 2015 to September 2015, it isnt by accident. Until this changes, I can no longer recommend Hook Burger...tis a shame.

WOW!!!! I cant believe I have gone this long to leave a review for Hook Burger!!!!. Its mandatory to visit Yeah burger every time I am visiting Atlanta, which isnt that often. Place is always packed but its worth the wait. My Favorite menu item: grass fed hamburger and I make my own. Two meat patties, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, grilled onions, cheese and a fried egg on wheat bread and served with a basket of french fries, lots of food and I make sure to savor every bite since I dont get to have it often enough.

Nice clean Restaurant. Staff was an A+ in my book...i was greeted upon entering and provided a menu to look at. There are plenty of tables to sit at or you can sit by the ordering area on stoll chairs which are near the TVs. The cashier was very nice and friendly. I ordered the hickory burger with cheddar cheese. I waited about 10 minutes for my order. Tip: they sell beer and have a beer of the month for all of yall beer drinkers ...lol! Will be back one day to try other items.

Service was great and especially awesome since I had a coupon for a FReE prime burger. Tommy had the burger I have a salad to watch my figure (bbq chicken). Food delivered to our table. Good size burger and good tasting salad. Very appealing interior as its a new place especially when comparing to Fat Burger and their taped up ripped cushions. dont get me wrong I love Fat Burger but I also like to sit down without worry on my A** I would come back here again and likely will.

Amazing food, amazing customer service and nice environment.We are obssesed. we had all burgers, chicken club sandwich, albacore tuna melt and onion rings all good shakes are pretty good too. Manager" Jilian" is amazing.Tip to Owner who picked the right person.personels are amazing and smiling all the time.cashier named Marlon he i scharming and polite all the time.We literally live 3 min away and when we have nothing at home we go to get hooked!

I enjoy the place, but I have to agree with the last review, quality and consistency can be an issue. The number one issue is the bun. Today the pretzel bun was cold and hard, and the bread is key for a burger. Customer service was on point, and the manager was accommodating, but they ran out of pickles. For me bread, BBQ sauce, and pickles are fundamental favorites for me. Your cant slip on your burger when its in the title of the store.

Every time we come here the service is always 5 star. The staff is always friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. Tonight we didnt realize that the closed at 9pm and not once did any of the staff give us any dirty looks or make any comments. I will definitely be coming here again and recommending this place to everyone. The food is great too. They even have a veggie patty for those like me who do not eat meat.

Hook has not let me down. I love the Prime and California Burgers, and my husband loves his Turkey Burger on Wheat. The staff will make your burgers the way you want them. The place is always full and brimming with energy. Its casual and homey, and a good place to just chat and eat with the whole family. I love the Hook branch in Burbank close to 24-Hour Fitness. But this branch in Topanga is pretty good, too.

Love the food and the service. The only problem I had was the cleanliness. It was something small but gross. The night manager was training a new girl. He was telling her how to clean up. He told her to fill up the drizzle bottles and clean the outside of the bottles with same rag they were cleaning the counters with. So all the germs from the counters will be going on all the shakes they make.

Hooks gives the self entitlement a new meaning of rude very rude service. The food is well over priced. I would suggest Hamburger Habit or even In and Out over Hooks. I would strongly suggest that Hooks retrain their staff in customer service. As far as Im concerned I will make it a point not to recommend this place to family or friends. Word of mouth is a powerful process.

Their burgers taste amazing! The combination of flavors are very delightful together. So far I really enjoyed the Pretzel burger because of its balance between sweet and salty. The Pretzel bun brings down the saltiness, but the bbq sauce, mayo and cheese keep your taste buds busy. Bistro burger was also very delicious, the avocado added extra flavor and texture to the meal.

This is a pretty nice newer build-out. The burgers are gourmet-light, and sit at the right price point. They have a couple of different beer and wine options (not that expansive a list). Onion rings and sweet potato fries are alright, but nothing to write home about. Normal fries are okay, but usually on the salty side. Always a reliably good meal.

Turkey burger on brioche bun was pretty bad. Bun got super soggy and the burger itself seemed like they didnt even season the meat... Not even salt or pepper. Pretty bland but the cranberry aioli was okay. The chicken club is awesome which is why this is 4 stars. Seriously just so good as well as the onion rings. Id def go back for that sandwich.

Hook burger had good food but loses a star for the prices. We had the burger that had chilis and the bbq bacon burger and both of us had fries. We split a shake. $24. I agree with another here that In n Out is actually probably better for the price. But the food was pretty delicious. And, their ranch was good too - seemed home made.

Great burgers (and choices for the non-beef eater - ahi tuna, salads) and the part I like best is that they really seem to know their customer service. Manager always visible and one staff member always on the floor making sure all the seated customers have anything they need (refills, sauce, napkins, etc.) Well done

Awesome burgers!! So glad they decided to venture out to the Los Angeles County. The staff is always super nice, warm and welcoming. The French fries are sooo good and I dont often dont get fries but you have too at Hook Burger. The Burgers taste so fresh and delicious! If youre a burger person you need to get hooked!
