As a foodie, Habit Burger is my regular go to place here in Whittier. They have plenty of other choices with salads & Santa Barbara style charburgers too. I love their lettuce wrapped charburger with cheese! The peppers & condiments bar is excellent too! They have delicious sweet potato fries, in addition to the regular fries & onion rings which they will let you split your order into half fries/ half onion rings if you cant decide. For dessert, try one of their Sundaes or the $1.00 ice cream cone! You cant beat that! Fast, friendly service & consistent good quality. There is patio dining outside at this location too.

There was once a burger place called B-Mans Burgers in La Mirada that served the best teriyaki and avocado burger ever (The B-Man Burger) but they closed many years ago and now they only have three stores, all up close to the San Gabriel Mountains. Anyhow, The Habit serves a teriyaki burger (Teri-Char) that does not come with avocado but you can add it and it comes close to the B-Mans Burger. Just make sure to ask for extra teriyaki sauce because they dont put that much on. You many also need to slow down the order-takers as they are always in such a rush they get things wrong.

My wife and I have been eating at Habit since the early 80s stopping at the original location when passing thru Santa Barbara. The food has always been great. Tonight we ate at the Whittwood location and were somewhat disgusted at how dirty it was inside. The tables had not been cleaned, and it looked like the floors had not been swept or moped in several hours. Trash and food remnants everywhere. They were not very busy so there was no excuse for the place to be so dirty. Probably wont be going back until we know they have their act together.

Love the habit! Food is fantastic. Definitely recommend the teriyaki burger or salmon sandwich. Fries are delicious and definitely try the strawberry limeade instead of a soda. Dont forget the soft serve ice cream and yummy malts. Also dont pass on the onion rings! Staff are always helpful and weve had good experience with getting something safe to eat for my daughter with multiple food allergies. This is a go to place for us.

Great burger, great low price. I got a bacon teriyaki burger with pineapple and cheese. Fries and strawberry lemonade (bomb) for 10.26 and it was excellent quality. Compared to Carls or fatburger youd pay easily $13, $18 for same and lower quality. Staff was attentive and brought my tray to me, as my hands were full from the drink/katchup bar. I will put this spot on my radar when looking for a bite.

Loved this place! Went for the first with my family one Sunday after church, and even though it got a bit busy when we arrived, our order was out within minutes! I got the BBQ bacon Char Burger on sourdough bread and it was delicious! Perfectly balanced flavors! They have affordable prices too, ranging from $3 to $7. The green and tropical tea are refreshing and delicious. I will definitely be back!

Never returning to this location cashier was to busy talking to guy infront og us about his lame ass ford fiest and when i got up to order he was unattentive I had to repeat my order 4 times when they brought my food out it was incorrect returned to the front counter they stated they were going to fix the problem it came out incorrect again worst experience ever

I was very offended by a homosexual woman that works at this location. I am a God fearing Christian, and here was this perversion of nature sinning against our Creator, flaunting her homosexuality, and it just reminded me of Sodom and Gomorrah. She was loud, vulgar and very un-lady like.

The burgers taste like a very expensive place and you can get them anyway you want which makes it wven better. The fries are crispy on the outside and tender inside. Staff is attentive and best of all the PRICES ARE LOW!
