What I Got - Baileys Chicken and Waffles - Sweet Potato Fries Over easy eggs, flavorful, crispy, thinly pounded fried chicken, and bacon and cheese stuffed waffles with gravy on the side. Sounds amazing right? There were definitely pros and cons to this dish. I really enjoyed the fried chicken! It was flavorful and not dry! However, that was the only pro.... There was not enough bacon or cheese in the waffles. I was glad I got gravy on the side because it was super bland. If I didnt have the over easy eggs, like my friend, the whole dish would not have tasted well. He felt his dish was dry and needed flavor since he got scrambled eggs and gravy on top. Sweet potato fries needed seasoning. All in all, I enjoyed my dish but, only because I ordered it the way I did.

This eclectic gem is a foodie find in Old Town Whittier. The staff is very friendly, polite, and attentive. The fare was much more gourmet than we expected - dont be fooled by the odd mix of decor and music jumping from jazz to 80s rock in the span of 10 minutes. Our family had a good range of the menu; pasta, salmon omelette, and steak sandwich - all were delicious. The restaurant was also very kid-friendly which is must for us. Fresh food, perfectly cooked, with great service makes me a happy camper!

We love the food here. The service has improved drastically over the last few months, also. However, the place is so loud you cant even hear your dinner guests due to the incredibly loud rock music that never ceases! My younger wife, who grew up with this music, just laughs at how inappropriate it is for such a nice venue. She says its like listening to KLOS blasting on the car stereo in 1973!!! I wonder how others feel about this???

I love this place! the chefs put a lot of attention to their dishes and it shows in the presentation and flavors you get with what you order... I have been working my way through the entire menu trying to order something different each time and I have yet to be disappointed... it helps that they are only a block away from my job ;) The staff is very warm and welcoming, its definitely one of my Whittier Favorites

Inside, its a nice restaurant. The food, however, was over priced for what it was, and everything (with the exception of their spread fit the bread) kinda tasted "meh". Our waiter was nice, but we noticed that the entire place is staffed by only two waiters. This led to us waiting a while for service. Unfortunate. Nothing here was worth coming back to purchase an underwhelming wrap for 14 dollars.

My wife and I are from Florida but we have friends here in Whittier, CA. Weve been here three times in the last year and every time the food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. In short - great food and service with nice ambiance. I recommend this restaurant to all guest of this beautiful town.

Great ambiance, friendly and knowledgable staff! Loved that the waiter knew so much about each dish and even gave us accurate cooking times of each dish. The service was top notch. The food was amazing. The meatballs were to die for and the strawberry lemonade was on point! Ill definitely be back if Im ever on this side of the country again!

Anything you order here is amazing. The salads are very fresh, filling, priced right and very tasty. I would have to say the lamb burger is also pretty good. And the Salmon with Mashed Potatoes is to die for. Never had a bad entree at this place. They take pride in their fine dining. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We stumbled upon this restaurant with the help of Google and their reviews. We shared a delicious chicken picatta with grilled veggies and a side of penne pasta. Yummy! Lovely background music, staff was pleasant and decor very cozy. Great choice if you are in downtown Whittier .

Its definitely not fast food . You can tell every dish is made to order. I really appreciate that . The service is great. Food is amazing & it keeps getting better with their weekly specials. If you are ever in Whittier give this hidden gem a try.
