I wish I could give zero stars. We reserved a holiday lunch for my work here, group of 88. After the initial reservation and while trying to get our final order in, the owner seemed like we were just irritating her. She could care less that we were booking a huge group ($1,900.00 worth) of people. She didnt return phone calls or e-mails. She would leave to go home right after hanging up with me and saying she would call back. The food was so bad that our executive unit wanted to make it clear that they "werent taking responsibility for the holiday party". Which is pretty bad lol. Sandwhiches were just small slabs of dry, tasteless meat on bread NO condiments or toppings!!! Like what the hell is that??? We couldnt believe it. Ill never be going back. And the owner should think about doing something she actually enjoys.

Ok, so this place was opened a million years ago is a farmhouse. Cool. But it looks like it has been that long since the menu was updated. This place is hurting for some Gordon Ramsey refresh. It REALLY needs some finness. This place has a great location and could be really busy/cool, but old school, uninteresting Italian fare hampers it. Updated, this place would be a million dollar business. Having said that, its a clean, friendly place that caters mostly to locals. Most of their food and beverages are locally sourced, down to the sweet and sour mix for cocktails. The happy hour is pretty good, the bartender was great. Recommend for drinks and shrimp martini. For the owners: UPDATE YOUR MENU!

Ive been going here for decades and the place still has that vintage throw-back feel from the 50s. Once upon a time, it was the ONLY joint for miles. Times have changed, but Pheasant Club has not. ALWAYS get what theyr famous for - steak sammy w/raviolies and EXTRA sauce. Its a no brainer. To be clear, get the STEAK SAMMY w/ RAVIES and XTRA SAUCE. Simply delicious. Look, this place is a mainstay and family operated for decades. It aint Mortons, but its a far cry from the Olive Garden. Its a legit joint with legit food served up the way old fashioned people like it. If somebody gave it less than 3 stars, well, they just didnt know what to order.

I went to the pheasant club to get the garlic steak sandwich for lunch didnt like it at all no garlic flavor at all the bread was soggy this is the second time Ive been there and this is the second time but it was no good I paid $15.93 for this its not even worth 5 .95 Ive been going to the pheasant on and off since about 1980 they used to have a really awesome steak sandwich but not anymore I wont be going back there anymore to eat not worth it

Old school West Sac restaurant that started in an old farmhouse and slowly expanded over the years. If youre just looking for a basic steak sandwich without anything fancy, then this is the place. The oldest part of the building as far more character than the add-on pieces, but the food is all the same. Not sure how much modern foodies will appreciate the cuisine here, but sometimes you just want an old school restaurant.

First time here, Alfredo chicken was the worst Ive ever had. My waiter highly recommended it. The sauce was like milk, runny and no flavor. Wife ordered the lasagna, and it was way too rich. After the second bite I felt like I had been eating it all night. It was very pricey, we will not go back. Plus we are in our mid thirties and were surrounded by 60 and over customers. Reminded me of an upscale Moose Lodge.

All entrees are great! Our family & friends love this Five Star Restaurant! We have noticed family owned restaurants, like this one are the best to have a nice meal and friendly service, as they take pride in their meals & service. Try their famous garlic steak sandwich & fried raviolis, our favorites. Lamb stew, corn beef & cabbage are another favorite!!!

Great atmosphere! Very friendly! And the food is superb! Love the steak sandwiches and fried raviolis that they are known for. We always get a salad, as all their salad dressings are made from scratch, the best! Also, love the homemade soups, especially the clam chowder! Corned beef & cabbage is their Thursday special, best corned beef we have ever had!

Took awhile to be greeted since there wasnt anyone at the front. Employees walked past us a few times without saying anything when we first walked in and were waiting for the host. The food was just OK. Overheard the table behind us tell the server that they thought she forgot them. She just laughed it off instead of apologizing.

I first ate here when I was a little girl and the restaurant was surrounded by fields, the place has since grown up but the food is still delicious! You have to get the steak sandwich of course, but they really have the best marinara sauce ever. Its so hearty I could eat it like soup on a cold day... mmm mmm!

Ive been coming to the Pheasant Club since I was a kid. This historic family-owned restaurant is the basically West Sac comfort food. Its likely not considered a "traditional Italian restaurant" but that doesnt mean the food doesnt make you feel at home.

Grab a drink at the bar and prepare yourself for a good meal. Club Pheasant is a throwback restaurant where the food is good, the portions are generous and the service is friendly. The prime rib is an easy choice but the baked chicken is very good too.

Traditional beloved favorite. Excellent bar service. Sunday pork roast dinners go fast. Wednesday lamb stew a must. Steak sannies are old school. Ravs are yummy. House salad dressing is special: tomato based vinaigrette like no other.

I was here for a private party so I need to come back again to get another feel for the place. However, the facility is great, the food was great, and the service was great. Definitely worth a night out with the family.

Dont know if it was a fluke but the Garlic Steak Sandwich I ordered was lackluster. A slab of okay meat and bread, no toppings, and much smaller than expected. It was good but the presentation and quantity was not.

Ok. Food the Garlic Steak sandwich was not cooked very much. I wish they would offer more than just steak and bread with the sandwich. The steak needed to be cooked till it was pink not blood running from it.

This place looks like its straight out of the 60s and its not the best Italian food youll ever eat but theres something about this place that keeps us coming back... about once every six months.

A West Sacramento unique restaurant, old, rustic but well maintained. No dust or cobwebs, very clean. Great service. The lasagna was very good. A pleasant experience.

Came here for a company holiday party.. worst expierence ever. The service took forever, the food was ok. The room they put us in was nasty and the drinks were weak.
