My mom and I usually stop at this place to catch up, service isnt that great, but its a convenient place to eat so we go there. However, today we were given chips and salsa as usual, and we were eating the chips talking and I noticed something in our chips.....it was a big dead earwig in our chips!!!!!!!! Oh my god, my mother and I were SO disgusted. I waved the waitress down and told her to look at our chips. She stood back in disgust and just shrugged her shoulders and said, "oh my god, that is so disgusting ". She didnt even know what to say yet alone grab the bowl. My mom asked her to get the manager or at least let him know. She then went to the back to call, but the damage was already done so we left. It just made us wonder how many more bugs they may have in the restaurant and how there kitchen is...I will NEVER go to this restaurant again nor would I recommend it for ANYONE.

Being Mexican myself from Michoacán this place is not what I expected. And After going there a couple of times, I will say that Im not going back!. The environment the music is nice, but at almost $18 for a shrimp cocktail is so overpriced and the food n drinks suck. Who makes a tostada with a leaf of iceberg lettuce and three scattered shrimp on it. Menudo is uneddible and literally tastes like rubber, the Chabelas are so watered down that you cant taste the beer in it. Dont think Im talking smack, go find out for yourself. But then again, if youre there to get drunk none of that matters.

Hands down the best sit-down Mexican place in town. Great seafood dishes. My favorites: catfish and shrimp soup (the broth is delicious) and Mariscado (will fill two diners to the gills with kinds of fish and shellfish. Great carne asada. Great ceviche tostadas. Theyve recently redecorated and it is now a much more pleasing and cozy environment. Sometimes a wait for an open table. Very infrequently you might encounter a mariachi band the needs a mute on the trumpet, but always always very good food.

Our family went with a party of 11 and all the grown-ups LOVED it. Everything was delicious, even the rice. We especially loved the hot plate with shrimp, chicken and beef. Guess this is how high quality Mexican food tastes like. This place changed the opinion of a few family members who werent so sure about Mexican food in general -- a big statement given their strong feelings. :) We will definitely be back on the way to Gilroy Premium Outlet in the future!

The food was not good. Im not sure how they mess up enchiladas, but they did. Clean restaurant. Very loud TV with Spanish music videos blaring. Server wasnt very attentive even though there were very few of us in the restaurant.

This is a great local spot with really good authentic food and great service. The food is ready super fast, too! The enchiladas are so yummy. Chips and salsa brought to your table as soon as you sit - whats not to like?!

Food is pricey but you Def. Get what you pay for. Best Mexican restaurant food Ive had. So close to homemade real Mexican food. So worth it. Everything is amazing including the seafood.
