As a West Sacramento native, my husband and I finally decided to check this place out. There are few places to dine at in West Sacramento, so after hearing and reading all the reviews (here and other media outlets), we decided to try the food out. We had pretty fair expectations based on what we had read and heard, but once we saw and ate our food, we were disappointed in the quality and flavor of the food. I ordered the Desperado expecting a nice steak sandwhich. I was told by the waitress this was "their best sandwich", so I was excited. My husband ordered the True Blue with a fried egg, and we got Banh Mi fries. I have had many a banh mi sandwich, so was excited to try this version out. The Severano was not at all how I imagined it to be based on the description. It looked like a soggy, over-sauced, and over-black-peppered cheesesteak. It was greasy, loaded with too much of their cheese-sauce, and tasted was far too over-peppered. My husband said the True Blue wasnt bad, but that it was really greasy. The Banh Mi fries were very disappointing too. It was really a shame. The house citrus caramel sauce does not go well with the flavors of the pork and pickled vegetables. It made the fries soggy. The pulled pork was dry, and again far too much black pepper used. The Severano and fries had the same flavor due to the overuse of black pepper. It was disappointing, and both of us had upset tummies later in the day due to the heavy, greasy, over-peppered food. Too bad too, because West Sacramento really needs more dining establishments.

I hate to give Brodericks 4 stars its a solid 4.5. Its just not a five and Google will only let me give 4 or 5. First time for me at this roadhouse. Food: 6 stars. I had the Gold rush burger with garlic fries and an Ice tea. My companion had the bacon Mac grilled cheese also with the garlic Aoli fries. My burger and her sand which were 9/5 stars...way beyond our expectations. My garlic Aoli fries were a little over done but my burger was a perfect medium. Service: excellent. Hostess was more concerned with the Kansas v Iowa state game on than greeting us but our waitress was amazing. Wish I remembered her name. (Tall like 6... long black hair in a ponytail over her right shoulder.) Atmosphere: The downfall. Very dark inside. Small seating area. When busy VERY LOUD. NOT Brodericks fault but there was a ton of crying toddlers when I was there. Price: Normally Id scoff at a burger and fries costing more than $12...my company agreed. Further review shows the average "artisan burger," in west Sac or midtown is about $17. I recommend the gold rush burger with garlic Aoli fries. I will go back and I highly recommend. Id give 4.5 if it was an option. UPDATE: Ive visited a few more time since my original review. The burgers are still 10 star. The beers are FANTASTIC. Try the knee deep "breaking bud". Still a dark, loud burger bar but I highly recommend it.

All hail the amazing Brodericks!!!! Oh my Lord, praise Jesus for whoever created this restaurant. The best burgers ever, hands down!!! A bit on the price-y side, but oh, its so worth it. I got the Gold Rush Burger with upgraded Banh Mi Fries. The burger is huge!! Its impossible for it to be better. A juicy patty, topped with bacon Mac and Cheese that was heated on the flat top till it got a cheesy, crispy crust, and then crispy fried onions! My mouth is currently watering as I write this review just rethinking about how amazing my lunch was, last week. Oh! And the Banh Mi Fries, who comes up with this stuff?! Sweet, sour, spicy, goodness covering fries! UGHHHH!!!! Im mad because I want some....right now.

The wife and I had a great experience here. The food was all very good, and the drink selection is pretty large. Especially if you like Craft Beer (and I do)... For food, I got the Chili Burger which had good size and flavor. The Chili had a little spice and was thick enough that you could actually pick up the burger to eat it. Instead of using a knife/fork. I also got the Garlic Fries, and they were well made and full of flavor. My wife got the Fried Chicken Burger, which she really enjoyed. And she got the Banh Mi Fries, which according to her are among the best Fries shes ever had. She loves them. So, if you like Fries/Burgers, this might be a good option for you.

Broderick Roadhouse is located in a nondescript part of West Sacramento, and its a little hard to spot if you are just driving by. We missed it the first time around. At first glance it looks like a roadside pub, which it is, but its also a restaurant that serves good burgers and other American favorites. The True Bleu was good, though the bacon that came with it was a little dry. Their famous spicy wings are large but lacks a little punch. Spicy but not too special. Service was friendly and efficient. Worth checking out if you happen to be in the area, but I wouldnt make a special trip out here to eat.

They have the Beyond Burger available here. Its great, happy hour burger and Brew 10 bucks! (Upcharge for beyond patty). My kid had the lamb burger, it was absolutely delicious, he totally won dinner. They have a nice beer selection, local beers mostly. Happy hour (3-6pm) is $3 well drinks, $4 house wine, $2 rolling rocks, and of course the "Hoot & Holler", a $5 deal for a shot of well liquor and 12 ounce beer. Fries are half price, get the bahn mi or Gorgonzola mushroom. Very nice. Service is great. Our server was very nice. The food came out quick and was very fresh. Can recommend.

Great burgers, fries and shakes. Friendly staff, tasty cocktails and local beer in a divey, yet comfortable atmosphere. This West Sacramento haunt is a local favorite and where the Broderick brand of restaurants started. They serve some of the best burgers in the Sacramento region (the duck burger is a must) and the Bahn Mi Fries are to die for. The shakes are killer and the grilled fish tacos are superb. This place is not to be missed. Never mind the divey vibes. This place is legit. Atmosphere 3/5 Staff 4/5 Food 5/5

I flew into Sacramento from Houston and we were on our way to Fairfield, and me and my daughter were looking for a good place for lunch. We actually found Brodericks on Yelp and it had very good reviews, so we stopped in. I must say we absolutely Love this place! What they serve you cannot get anywhere else. From the grilled bacon mac & cheese to the fries served 7 different ways, to the jumbo wings! You gotta try this place. When ever im in the area....I will definitely go back! The food is totally awesome!!!

I was so excited when my favorite food truck folks opened a brick and mortar place! The food is yummy and it is consistent! Love the duck burger and the Korean bbq sandwiches (a limited offering). The West Sac location is loud (read: not good for taking my dad with a hearing aid) but great for people who dont mind a lot of noise. I prefer this place to the one they opened in Midtown Sacramento. This also has an added bonus of easy parking! Get of the Sac grid and check out this location! Mmmmmm
